  1. Seeing this car chase/vehicle combat mod in action, even in its somewhat rough early state, really highlights how badly Cyberpunk 2077 needed these features and all the more reason leadership should have delayed this game by at least another year.

  2. To play Devil's advocate for a bit, remember that Trauma Team automatically gets notified whenever their customers' vital signs show sign of danger (unless there's a jammer, like in the first mission), So It does make sense that some factions like Arasaka or Militech would get notified immediately if one of their agents are injured or killed. It serves the point that corporations aren't to be trifled with. For everyone else, though, it makes sense that they'd have to call for backup manually.

I do hope at some point that the game actually implements Trauma Team responses, so if you attack someone on Corpo Plaza, there is a chance Trauma Team swoops in to kick your ass. Kind of like how in GTA an ambulance arrives at the scene when an NPC dies, and they resuscitate them, except Trauma Team would come heavily armed and shoot you if you're still around.

  3. i still wish the new apartment where incorporated into the story. it would just fuel much more lived in & immersive of an experience if you start off in the really cheap apartment to start then as you progress moved to the apartment you had when the game launched and then the last three apartments come to you based off of your chosen life path tho the other ones would be available to be purchased later. Plus I really want that third person mode lmao

  4. I always found it embarrassing that moderators always can produce better mechanics than a official company could ever do. Companies always shoot themselves in the foot when they rush a game. For the love of God just take the time you need to put out a finished product

  5. I’ve been replaying it after the patch on Series X. It’s actually undeniably great. I have little reason to complain other than the bitter taste of knowing how disappointing it was at launch.

  6. Sadly this does nothing to us on ps5. I’m happy for u of owners and yes I have a high end pc but I only chose the ps5 because it was a 5 hour free trial and it was $25 but it had the biggest positive which it released the trial with the new update 1.5 I ended up likeling the game enough to pay the $25 but the gun combat is the worst I’ve ever seen. The reticle never locks on or u can’t get it to aim at ur target, always forcing u to just pass the target and miss and miss like ur fighting with controls or the hand combat is just trash. It’s like they only spend time on graphics and combat is “who cares!” They need to learn how to make a shooting game and fighting game because they have a bad track record for combat.

  7. See I got CP after the next gen version came out. For what it is I like it. If I want to relax and don’t want to be chased I like it I don’t need the “other key features” for the game to be good. It’s the same as 2042 I didn’t need the “scoreboard to boast my big PP KD ratio for 2 seconds LF fame to enjoy the game. I guess I’m just different then everyone else

  8. I can see why they took it out. There are so many issues with it with regards to immersion (like cars who don't have windows – how can you shoot through it) that it makes sense that they just removed it.

  9. WOW just WOW, i don't get WHY they did not delay the release of this game WHY?
    GREEDY FUCKERS thats's why!

They would have made so much more given time.

So actually i do get it 😀

  10. I’ve said since launch, it’ll be the community that fix the game not the devs, CDPR no matter how much they patch the game it will never reach the point they hyped it to be, it would be too costly anyways so passionate fans doing it for free is all the better, the best situation would be going dark souls 1 and legit paying the modded who made the biggest game fixing mod and making it just part of the game on all skews

  11. and then there are a ton of people that still swear Cyberpunk is a masterpiece when GTA San Andreas (2004) outclasses it in every way
Probably the same people who voted and love Joe Biden

  12. If CP2077 had the modding tools of Skyrim, it could be amazing. Not being able to add new customizzation options (hair, makeup, etc) as opposed to just replacing existing ones is a huge problem. While it seems now that new clothes and items can be added thanks to spawn0, very few people seem to be using their mod to add new clothing and instead just replace existing clothing. Virtual Atelier adds a good way to make custom stores for those new items, but it's extremely limited and problematic to use if you use a gamepad (whcih is something that is the case with many mods).
Before 1.5, there was a mod where you had gang wars for terriroty, going for a GTA San Andreas feel. Still needed a lot of work but it was a good start. I'm not sure it's up anymore on Nexus, though.
One thing I really want is a dynamic police mission system similar to Skyrim's radiant quest system, where I can call in to NCPD dispatch and it procedurally generates an NCPD mission. Add this to procedurally generated building interiors, and you can create some cool dynamic missions (like a modern version of Anarchy Online's mission system)

  13. This, this is why CDPR is the best company, cuz they deliver good shit, maybe not right away but like c'mon now, witcher 3 was glorious and if they can pull this off they could probably try to take on Microsoft with popularity and loyalty for gaming market top dog

  14. Being honest, I played cyberpunk when it launched, but I didn't buy it. I kind of enjoyed it, but there were so many bugs and by the time I beat it I felt disappointed, despite playing it for free. There was a lot that felt missing. The patches seem like a step in the right direction, but I have no intentions of buying the game until the expansions release.
