Hello everyone,
Welcome to my channel.
In today’s video, I am comparing Cyberpunk 2077 on Linux and Windows. I picked the new Ubuntu 21.04 for this test and a freshly installed Windows 10 Pro. The game tested at 1440p, using custom settings provided by Digital Foundry.
In my opinion, Cyberpunk runs perfectly fine on both OSs, and with an fps cap, the game is very smooth, only it loads faster on Windows, but an extra 3sec not a huge deal.

Nice content bro
Thank you for your work.
hi thanks for video, i have a question can you tell how to enable dxr in Control via 6.3-3 vkd3d-proton or it only for nvidia cards?
Wow. linux is catching windows. More scenes please. Thanks alot.
It would me not surprise me no more if the game is using DXVK because I know DXVK is pretty close to Windows, but its using VKD3D,another translation layer for a total different DirectX API,that's craziness and that surprise me.
Impressive! Almost the same performance
CP77 is currently crashing for me in the intro videos. Mesa 21.0.3
There is no longer that huge gap between linux and windows .
Happy🤗🤗🤗
Ty for nice videos
Very similar performance, but this time looks like Proton has better temps in the CPU while in the GPU the temps are just a little bit higher than those on Windows, fortunately, it also uses less RAM compared to Windows.
Wake the fuck up samurai, we have a video to like
Vkd3d > Dxvk
Maybe?
wow, only 3fps gap
I am so envy! And I wish I could change my Pascal GPU for the sake of VKD3D.
I wonder how using a more performance oriented Kernal like the zen Kerbal would effect things.
This is impressive
