  1. I really like these Panam/nomad missions. In theory the game is about the condition of V because of the relic, and also becoming a NC legend.
But this is a nice parallel story: finding a new family in a city which eats human relationships alive. It especially works well for the nomad origin story, which is like losing a family – losing Jackie – work as a merc alone – finding a family – finding a good friend in Johnny.

  2. If someone started the game as a nomad, they can see that Panam tried to follow a similar path as V. She left her clan, moved to Night City, started doing contracts from fixers, got cheated by a co-worker (like Dexter), found a friend who helped her get back on her feet (Jackie for V is like V for Panam). The only difference – she eventually returned to her clan. Perhaps thanks to this she is still alive, because the life of a mercenary in NC is short (V is alive only thanks to Relic).

  3. The Basilisk is a hovertank as explained in the previous episode.

Yes, you do get to drive it and blow things up with it. I loved the bits with those. It's like a little piece of Battlezone 1998 just dropped into this game. Speaking of which, a tank driving first person real time strategy game? I think you'll like that.
