  1. You're probably judging Judy unfairly, and this ending shows how much she cared about V. She basically fell apart mentally. In the first ending, Judy left V because she couldn't live in a relationship with someone who was carrying out more and more crazy and suicidal missions and put her fame above their relationship. Judy knew that if V died in such a mission, it would mean the end of the world for Judy.
A similar situation happened in Misty and Jackie's relationship. In one of the dialogue options, Misty says that she argued with Jackie because she didn't want him to take part in the robbery at Konpeki Plaza.
Sometimes, unlimited freedom and the need to fulfill one's own ambitions cannot be fully reconciled with the love or friendship of people close to us. This is a very difficult choice and occurs in almost every relationship. But if we choose our own needs (especially in such an extreme version as V did), we have to reckon with the fact that the other person will leave our relationship. And this despite the fact that she cares about us.

  2. Respect to CDPR for including that ending. The world can be a dark place, and I think it's an amazing thing not being afraid to go there in your story. Acknowledging the feelings with no judgment or preaching, giving the option to let you feel and express yourself, to let you know you still are in control, you have a choice, instead of suppressing it. I think that actually helps a lot. And ending with those messages which are so moving . The voice actors did such an amazing job as always. A reminder of how selfish that is and what devastating it is to people who care about you. Poor Judy, first Evelin and now V. Mama Welles too. It's all sort of horrible as Jessika always says.

  3. After this you have to google and watch the secret ending.

weapon wall knife: you can buy the missing ones at melee weapon vendors. (I don't remember if you bought the konpeki plaza knife at the dogtown vendor)

V talking not animated: this is a brand new bug introduced with 2.0. Yay

  4. There are no 'good' endings in this game, although what's good or bad depends a lot on your perspective. Both the blaze of glory or becoming Mr./Ms. nobody turn out to be pretty unsatisfactory choices. Dunno if this was the point the CDPR writers and devs wanted to make, but that's the message I take from it. This ending is particularly rough…the game warns us up front about the nudity, violence, crude language, etc…but not about suicide. However anybody that made it through the games many depictions of suicide probably won't be 'triggered' too badly by this…and really, those final phone messages make good rebuttals to this personal 'final solution'. But it's not calculated to make you feel good, all the same. Heh…you are headed to an interesting place…let's see how The Devil ending works out.

  5. Yeah this one is rough. It's so sudden. And then the voice mails hit you like a truck. Very powerful and sad ending, for sure. Looking forward to all the other ones!

  7. Both Judy and panam leave V if you choose the Sun ending. If you choose the Star ending Judy/Panam leave night city with V. I think it’s like their character arcs of night city never really being for them and it’s up to V if they want to join Judy/Panam
