  1. "And as they sat upon that ridge looking off at the city of dead dreams, a dying merc and a lost Nomad, they finally had some semblance of peace, ironically before the chaos truly broke out."

How CDPR were able to make these moments so personal baffles me:
    River on the water tower
    Kerry on the boat
    Judy on the riverside
    Panam Watching over the city
    Johnny Seeing his grave

The quality of writing is incredible. One of the games I wish I could go back and experience fresh again just to have that undistrupted connection with the characters.

  2. P: "I'm not a miracle worker, V! I'm scared to the bone something will go wrong. That everyone will–"
V: "Be right there with you tomorrow. Whatever happens, we'll be together, we'll manage."
P: "I don't know what I would do without you."
V: "You'd do what you needed to."
    P: "What do you know."
<Panam looks into the distance for a moment.>
    P: "V?"
    V: "Yeah?"
P: "Are you not afraid to die?"
V: "Not as much as I'm afraid for you. C'mere."

I remember when this scene happened and I was just floored at how authentic and "real" that whole conversation felt, hell, that whole evening talking to the Nomads in the camp and the feeling that these people were walking into the fire, without question, to help save your life despite knowing that they might not come back at all. That's what having a family feels like, people that stand with you no matter what. No games aside from maybe the Mass Effect trilogy have ever given me that feeling.

  3. This scene, the sandstorm, the moment you see Laguna Bend light up with the red flare, and the moment you are sitting at the campfire with the vets and Panam are some of the most atmospheric and emotional scenes in a video game for me. And not the emotional you can usually get in pain, but in awe or just serenity. This game is great and it's made special because of this incredible soundtrack

  4. That moment sitting on the uphill with her after being accepted into the family, watching over the city but your eyes gaze on her. Being with her is more than anything that god forsaken city could ever give.

  5. This game gave us so many authentic and life-memorable moments that we all feel as we've made new friends and people we can call family~
And you continue to keep it real and alive for us <3
