For me one of the first hurdles to enjoying Cyberpunk 2077 has been the movement with a keyboard…and so I’ve switched to controller! This has made the game much more immersive. In this video I discuss why I decided to switch after years of being a keyboard and mouse only player!

Good video! I don't know how to play the game. I will try to play with controller. Mk feels bad in comparison to a normal fps game.
No one cares. Keep doing swg.
Nexusmods already has a Walk Key mod. Binds it to alt so you walk at a normal slow pace while holding it.
exactly this dude, i used to play on ps3 all the time, then switched to pc and never touched a controller again except for gta V just like you and now i was thinking about using a controller again for cyberpunk
I just hate I can’t bind the F key
to something else, I have never in my life used the F key for anything
how do u sprint using controller?
I have a PC and tried to use the keyboard… I was really hating using my hacking abilities + shooting during combat… Then I added my controller from my xbox one and it became way easier… And the game became fun. So bottom line use a controller on pc. You won't regret it
The worst thing in this game are the controls options.
Key rebinding with a keyboard is bad, and you can’t change controls on a controller at all from what I can tell.
Outside combat go with a controller, switch to mouse and keyboard when in combat.
Did you know you can combine controller and mouse? If you have a mouse with extra buttons, you can use conroller for navigation and mouse for aiming.
I use controller on all games for my pc as been a console player for years and like the console experience but with the pc benefits I only use keybaord and mouse on warzone but even then I use controller sometimes aswell
After restarting this game several times I began using controller, just way more natural for this game. Granted my aim isn't great but getting better lol.
Biggest problem you can not dodge with controller
I know I'm a bit late to the party.. I've put quite a few hours into the game over the last 8 months but I've really only finished the prologue. Most of my time has been exploring the city, and yeah I have to say that I have just recently made the switch to using a controller.. I'm still not happy yet though because gunfights are just so much more difficult.
i think Cyberpunk is better to play with Controller.. gameplay feels much more imersive
I find it impossible to aim and shoot at people using a controller, especially in Warzone
thanks
I love using controller on single player shooters, the feel of the vibrations when your emptying a clip feels more immersive and a mouse just feels like point and click.
i'd say keyboard for near everything cause all my life i've been using a keyboard of sorts
They added walk toggle on keyboard and also when walking with a quest giver, you walk at their speed if you stay behind them, this is true since release. So if your major gripe about not using keyboard is the inability to walk, they added that. as a hardcore FPS player, I can't play any FPS game without mouse and keyboard. it feels wrong shooting them in the body.
The driving is realllly bad no matter what you do.
As someone who never owned a console, how do people play any FPS game with a controller?
I always stick to only controller and have for all my PC gaming, but it really gets put to the test here, as I very rarely play shooters and man has Cyberpunk reminded me of why.
But it'll be interesting to see how it goes
