Its a only game you go in to with shaky hands on controller.
Johnny you NUKED THE CITY, I'm surprised you HAVE a grave. But…now we know, Choom.
And I thought the music Score in Nier automata was gorgeous. This is another level .
This music is wonderful. Through a bug, this music continued in freeplay. It was night in night city, this music was running and I was driving the Porsche Turbo through Chinatown. Great. Just great.
backdrop of a city that survived him dropping a nuke on it and 50 years later nobody cares. Him coming to grips with all he tried to do meant nothing. CDPR can write a hell of a story.
before the game came out, i had this as my background on my computer… i didn't know until I played
Let's give him a big hug. We love you, Johnny

This was one of the best side quest's in history and really should have been made part of the main quest imo. Didn't care for him much before this quest, but after I could understand him being the way he is much more. So many stories have the hero going out in a blaze of glory and that's how it ends, with the protagonist sacrificing themselves. But to see the hero come back 50 years later and hit bottom, when he see's he is in an unmarked grave and that his last hoorah didn't really change anything, hits hard. All the Rockstar bravado drops and you see him for what he actually is…. a decent guy that was used by the system and was trying to change a system that kills the poor people.
I've followed this game's development almost since the beginning. I realized it was never going to live up to the insane amount of hype it generated, and I can see a lot of the criticism being leveled at it. But I still played it and I truly loved my experience with it. Call me whatever you want, and this next part is extremely important, I could not give less of a fuck what anyone else says. I saw this video, read some comments and decided to drop one of my own. This is a wonderful game and I applaud the effort that's on display. I hope the many mistakes that were made are learned from and never repeated again.
Night City is a city of legends, and many of those legends ends with someone buried under piles of debris, alone and forgotten, leaving just lies of what they were and what they did to became a legend.
P2 is like gold being poured directly into my ears
8:02 no words
Listening to this melody, I directly feel Johnny's lonely pain and it makes me worse when I realize that I cannot get into the monitor screen and hug him. Johnny became a friend not only to V, he became a friend to all of us
Hopefully in the add-ons we get to know the real ending of the game and free Johnny / V from Alt's imprisonment, though .. It's impossible, right?
Hey thank you so much for this video among the others, as it is a soothing piece that I listen to in the evenings!
On those soothing pieces I have a video suggestion if you would like to do it. The violin / cello melody that is playing in many of the videos (including this one for example at 27.48-27.58): In the Alt + Blackwall video 03.06-03.40 and 04.14-04.47. In the Alt Cunningham video 04.14-04.40. And in the Mikoshi mix video between 01.13-01.30 and 02.49-04.44.
Those types of melodies mixed together would sound quite good. And also there could be other melodies with the same violin / cello that you could include in the mix. This is if you have the energy or the inspiration to do that kind of video. Also you could take some liberties with the melody, so it is just not only violin, as for example this video has the nice bass New Dawn Fades melody, so you could aim for a soothing mix of those types of melodies all in one video 🙂
Fuuuuuuuuu. This was really sad. I do t know how they can make his a dick guy and we still feel sorry for him.
Seeing Johnny's grave really made melancholyc. Everything he believed was just buried beneath the trash of history. And that's what our world does with everything It doesnt need. Everything that hinders this world's "progress", is just relegated to the trash.
I wish Johnny was a romance option, he wasn’t just the most fleshed out character who had the best story with V but they were literal soul mates.
The message and story of cb2077 is one best i've seen in video game so far it deals with
the inevitability of death, meaning of life and fear of being forgotten are some of the subjects covered in the game. You have few ways to deal with the inevitable and all of them come at a price. You can give up on existence and check out early by your own hand, leaving those who knew and cared about you in pain and dealing with a terrible loss. Alternatively you can stand defiant and fight. Whatever for pure survival or meaning of life. You can decide to become an immortal AI, lose your body and who knows, maybe even your soul? You can dismiss the inevitable and become a legend to be remembered for ages to come. You can give in to security offered by a faceless corporation and likely lose a part of yourself in the process. Finally you can (re)join the Nomads and find meaning of life in daily strife, community, belonging and family.
Whatever you decide to do in your real life, choose wisely, there is no re-runs here.
I'm not crying, that not true
it's pure sadness
Damn these vibes… Makes me want to do another playthrough XD
I wish there was a better ending, like transfer him into another body or something, all the endings suck.
can you do only part ii?
Poor Johnny man. He did all this for Alt. Wagged war against the Arasakas and the corpos bcz of what they did to her. She was the last straw for him and now he is back in someone else's body who is going through what Alt went through. It became even harder when he started to like and care about V.
damn. Maybe Temperance might seem like the best choice for Johnny bcz u wanted to give him the chance to live and try to find happiness. But here is the thing. Johnny does not want that at all. thats the last thing he would choose. He does not want to see another person go through what Alt did. Johnny finally became a true hero by sacrificing himself for V. He finally became what he wanted to be but could never achieve in his life time. not a terrorist, not a street criminal but a Hero.
the part 1 reminds me of sly cooper games
видимо я одна тут русская… и тоже хочу сказать , каждый раз когда я включаю это видео , не могу сдержать слез… то ли из за любви к этой игре , то ли из за ее конца…
I made a small video essay about Cyberpunk. If you see this comment and by any chance you have spare 11 minutes i'd be happy if you could watch it. I tried to dig into things that evoke in me similar emotions that this ambient evokes. Some fundamental ideas that touch one's heart on deep level. I strongly believe that Cyberpunk is a brilliant game. Despite all its technical flaws it did what it intended to deliver – personal stories that will be close to us all.
too bad New dawn Fades isnt on Spotify
I’ve said this somewhere else and idk if anyone’s gonna recognize it but I’ve ALWAYS loved bad endings (where the good guys lose etc.) but in Cyberpunk 2077, it fucking beat the shit out of me emotionally and made me see the importance in good endings where the good guys win. Another thing is that this is one of the two games to make me feel empty inside after completing it (other being Red Dead Redemption 2).
7:36 what is music? Help pleas 🙁
I love this game, sure it had a rocky start.
But its really fun to play this game.
Hope the dlc will be just as good
Shoulda had his hand sticking out the ground. In the end johnny was redeemed though, awesome ambience
This is so beautiful thanks for upload
In those time when cdpr made witcher games they become living god's, now they have many haters because of cyberpunk, but i bought this game and complete it all and spent here over 200 hours because it's still CDPR and i believe in their success, it's not the end for them they will show to us many good games in future, kurva)))))👍😂😂😂
My favorite part💔✨🌪
fuck CDPR management!
the devs and artists really had something special… the needed an extra year to clean up the technical stuff but the game itself is amazing
I'm just scared for you, V…
I can't even convey how hard that hit me… went further than a few tears, it was the kind of crying you do where no tears come out.
as buggy as this game is, it definitely has an amazing atmosphere
"Here lies Johnny Silverhand – terrorist and raging asshole" played through this part 3 times, chose this and will choose it on my future playthroughs. Guy who saved my life? How, exactly? He haven't done anything. V was saved by Arasaka's chip and Jackie, who pushed it in V's head, then by Takemura and finally by Victor.
I like Johnny and by the end of the game he can become really close friend, but when you are at his grave – there wasn't much that could have bonded them together, in contrary, he was more of a nuisance on our journey.
