  1. Hey Marco, great analysis as always! But on an unrelated topic, remember Punishing: Gray Raven? They just released another song on ther official channel and it's amazing, so if you can please check it out, it's worth it 🙏
This is the name: Who I Used To Be – Alpha's Character Impression Song

  2. Johnny Silverhand hates Arasaka to the core, he swore that he will destroy the corporate tyrant to the ground. So Johnny Silverhand became a terrorist and plant a bomb into one of the Arasaka tower, then this music plays. The cello is a constant reminder of his eventual death, and the bass describes the pressure of the situation.

But in the end, Johnny Silverhand will be remembered as a hero that freed the people from the corporate tyrant. A legend that taught us that we can fight back.

  3. Marco I gotta ask, I've been checking back ever since your Kings video – will you be checking out the orchestral performance of the Project Wingman tracks? Love your videos!

  4. I love the cello, its very reminiscent of the Witcher 3 soundtrack which I guess makes sense considering who the composers are.

speaking of cellos, I've been listening to the blasphemous soundtrack nonstop for almost a month now. if you get the chance I recommend the cello version of Baile de Violetas. It goes really hard with both an electric and flamenco guitar. the whole soundtrack is spectacular with some of my favorites being the aforementioned Baile de Violetas, Su Beso de Plata redux, Mirada de Culpa, and Saetas de Altos Balcones.

  5. the first segment/build up always reminds me/gives me the same vibe of that theme that plays when we first meet The Crones of Crookback Bog; it has that haunting/ mysteriously dangerous atmosphere. Soooo good.

  6. "I saw corps strip farmers of water… and eventually of land."
"Saw them transform Night City into a machine fueled by people's crushed spirits, broken dreams and emptied pockets."
"Corps've long controlled our lives, taken lots… and now they're after our souls!"
    "…"
"V, I've declared war not `cause capitalism's a thorn in my side or outta nostalgia for an America gone by."
"This war's a people's war against a system that's spiraled outta our control. It's a war against the fuckin' forces of entropy, understand?!"
"Do whatever it takes to stop `em, defeat `em, gut `em. If I gotta kill, I'll kill. If I need your body, I'll fuckin` take it!"
    "Fuckin' hell…"
"You still don't see it. But you will one day."

  7. i like how u describe it as "brutal and consistent", but u cant really pinpoint what it means. i like the idea that the "brutal consistency" describes the "cruel world" and that you are changing with in it to survive. since you described a way of change but still staying the same. yeah maybe its the world and you. what do you think?

  8. slightly unrelated to this song, but it’s from Cyberpunk.
The mission with the prisoner and the cross..

that mission has bothered me to this day. it’s so deeply messed up. first time I played it, I just paused the game and stared for a good 30 minutes at nothing. 10/10 writing. the music is good too…

  9. you should do a reaction to Cannonball from Megaman Zero 3. It's an old game and one of my personal favorites, but make sure you react to the official remaster and not the original 8-bit version (because it's very simple and doesn't have the sections the remaster has)

  10. People can complain all they want about the state in which the game was released, but it's in my top five. And the soundtrack is in my top two. They did an amazing job with the game's original music tracks.

  11. A few other tracks that you might like are V and Been Good To Know Ya. Johnny's Rebel Path is one of the best tracks and for me the entire Cyberpunk feeling is compressed into this song.

Edit: Didn't realize you've already done a video on V.
