Cyberpunk 2077 just put out its giant 1.5 patch which also marked the launch of the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X in full. I’m on PC and go through some of the biggest changes, and give thoughts on where we’re at now, and if you should play.

  1. Is there somewhere that lists the PRECISE differences between versions? Like, what precisely is available on newest gen that isn't available previous? Because so far everything is kinda vague and obtuse (probably attempts to mitigate rightly disappointed players on previous gen)

  2. So, I have a 1050 TI but cyberpunk runs at 15 fps and i have to turn the display down from 1080×1920 to a lower one, any possibility there’s saving that? I also run everything else super low settings

  3. Cyberpunk is in desperate need of more endgame content, new game+, and an even higher difficulty. I love the build crafting and combat sandbox, but there's nothing in the game that requires any of that. I made a crazy sword build on my main save and the only enemy that took more than 1 second to kill was Adam Smasher, and he still died in about 5 seconds. The build absurdity of the game at max level just trivializes all forms of combat, which sucks because the combat is really fun.

  4. Thanks for your impressions on what it’d be like for first time players. Seeing it on sale on Steam i got it and it’s downloading. I played 20 minutes when it first launched on pc and immediately got a refund due to the bugs.

  5. Jumped in for 1.5 hrs on Series X. Need to dig in more, but no crazy bugs in my session. There's still tons to do in the main story and side quests.

Performance mode is the way to go. RT mode in 30 is not it. My eyes couldn't adjust to 30 fps after 60 fps in most of my games now. It looks pretty, but, yeah. I need RT games at 60. Lumina looks like it will allow that kind of performance going forward at some point.

  6. I saw the ps5 update in the store today so I purchased it for £19.99. Only did the first few missions but it looks brilliant so far playing it in 4k/60fps. Had one bug early on when you go to the apartment with Jackie then as you’re leaving he just walks straight into the cabinets on the wall and everything flies out of them . Nothing major compared to when I Watched some crazy videos in the past of the glitches etc so I’m fortunate to not have bought this a year ago

  7. I played it on PS5 and stopped 30h into the game after it was released. Now decided to go back to it and can say one thing. The game is a mazing. It’s generally fixed, it’s improved on so many levels, it’s enjoyable and in my opinion it’s one of the best games in recent years and history. If there will be more content, DLS’s it will only get better. Finally I love this game like I wanted in 2021. And going back to Night City is pure gamer’s pleasure.

  8. Started over with a fresh new save. Original character builds are useless now, everything in the game has changes from the clothing, weapon, cyber slots, stats all of it has change huge in %. Like crits are virtually non existent anymore on my build. The AI is tougher too, some of NPC enemies move around like friggin hummingbirds high on crack, meth, basically and every friggin drug u can think of x 10.

  9. No, it still looks like ass on PS5, the streets are still deserted, the cop/npc interactions are laughably bad, and they couldn't even be bothered to work in how to transfer trophy progress with save progress, you have to start a full new game lololol. Absolute shambles of a company.

  10. To be honest its not worth it on last gen.

Its definitely way better than it was, but no where near good and enjoyable. Can't say about next gen since I don't own a PS5 or Series X
