Now that Cyberpunk 2077 is in a somewhat more stable position, developer CD Projekt Red is talking more about the future — including the game’s first expansion. Today, the studio revealed that the previously announced expansion for the game will be launching in 2023. Unfortunately, that’s all we know; there’s no information on what to expect from the first major content update for the game. CD Projekt Red says to expect more details “later this year.”
The news was revealed as the studio outlined its upcoming production plan, which includes continued work on Cyberpunk, development of the next Witcher game (which kicks off “a new saga for the franchise” and is built in Unreal Engine 5), and the next-gen update for The Witcher 3, which is currently delayed indefinitely. CD Projekt Red also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 18 million copies since launching in 2020; by comparison, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring hit 12 million in sales just a few weeks after debuting earlier this year, and The Witcher 3 has sold more than 40 million copies since 2015.
In addition to the work on its big franchises, CD Projekt Red says it’s also in the midst of “conceptual and research work on unannounced projects.”

If this video is a 9/10 be sure to LIKE IT! 😛
the story itself is the most cringe pathetic excuse of a narrative that im sure a 14 year old came up with lmao
cyberpunk 2077 was definitely profitable it sold 13.7 million copies before the end of 2020 and they said they made the development cost off preorders and marketing alone.
I don’t mind so much that CP DLC has a 2023 release date window if it means they’re actually working on something really cool and continue working towards fixing the game/fleshing the world out.
Look at elden ring… At least there’s content and hype still. People can’t stop talking about it
Elden Ring: How TO release a game!!
Cyberbug 2077: How NOT to release a game.
Why is the comment section acting like they’re sponsored by CDPR. Holy sh*t no wonder companies get away with releasing broken games on launch lol. You idiots will buy and wait for them to somewhat fix it…then proceed to defend it against people just speaking facts on it
Yea this game is just like tainted it just leaves a bad memory in your head even tho i played the game and it had potential just the colossal fuck up was too much to ignore hopefully developers learned from this and wont release broken unfinished games
i still play this game and think it's neat despite preordering and playing it day one. it is a good not great game with flaws but………i actually love this game for its bugs and glitches cause it is hilarious and it shows that people like developers are human and can make mistakes (in a global pandemic) ya know 7/10 for me just okay but i'm rambling.
I just waited at release until the game was at a better state. Played other games until 1.5 came out with the ps5 upgrade and then finally started the game for the first time. Loving it!!! Don’t think it’ll ever be dead to me because it’s genre and overall atmosphere is right up my alley. To each their own but it’s a 👍 for me!
When the game is on sale for 10.00, I may get it. I got a refund on release day after 10 hours gametime. Game was horrible on release day.
Another video another lie by Dreamcast guy
I think you're being unnecessarily negative. CP2077 is not dead. Yes, the thought that we won't get expansion or expansions until 23 sucks, but if they're pulling out a new SL as suggested, they'll need the time. I'll wait. I have hope they've learned something and CP 2 or whatever gets the time needed to bake properly.
And I'm done with Dreamcastguy lol . You talk so much shit about shit you don't know about , saying the game is costing them more then they made from it ….wow lol they made their money back just with pre orders lmao. How does any of this make it seem like cyberpunk is dead ? They've improved the game a lot and still are supporting it fully and they're working on expansions lol . Geez after the missleasing video about VRR and this and countless other cringey shit you spray out your mouth , just can't take it anymore lol

This guy glitched…🤣
That game was dead on arrival.
Cyberpunk is not dead. I plan on replaying it whenever they fix it 2023, 2024 or 2025.
This is coming from a person who got burnt by preordering at release. But the past is the past. A lot of people have played it by now, I'm just looking forward to when it is improved. I already paid for the game and it's not going anywhere.
A lot of people feel the same and are just waiting. As long as they keep fixing it, eventually it will be good.
Honestly I'm currently replaying it but I can see ur point
this game is very immersive. i like that the control is nearly never taken away from the player. no shot-reverse-shot and bullshit like that.
city is very nice. liked the city very much.
if youve read neuromancer, this game is a dream come true. i love that there is a dlc coming.
Played it on ps5 when it came out and loved it. Didn’t have that many bugs and if they bring out a new game + I would play it again as I kept my save file
Are you oke single play games can't be dead
I wouldn’t call the game controversial because the actual content is a little mundane. Last of Us 2 is controversial. No, Cyberpunk, was broken – a fact that is fairly uncontroversial.
Horizon forbidden west is dead more people talk about elden ring and cyberpunk than horizon forbidden trash
