I missed this on my first playthrough. Learned about it from my friend. He did the Aldecaldo ending and during credits he got a call from Takemura being very… upset with V's choices, to put it mildly. Still need to unlock it myself for the fun of it.

Good fun! Like many people I missed this in my first playthrough [trusting Johnny to guide you 🙄🙄🙄] but subsequently I could hear him yelling and decided to investigate. Never went on to the the Devil ending where he shows up, however…
I have mixed feelings about Takemura, I like him a lot as a character but his plan all along is to use Soulkiller on V (like what they did to Jackie's corpse) so he could prove Yuri killed his father. When he discovers you are alive, Arasaka cuts him off and deactivates his implants so he puts a tracker on you in Vic's clinic. At this point he still plans to get V to Arasaka to use Soulkiller. He actually mentions 'other methods' in the conversation in the diner. He does grow to respect V over the course of the game but his intentions are questionable to say the least.
I saved takemura even if i didn't do the Arasaka ending because the voice mail he leaves you in the end credits is fantastic

I would save him out of respect but that is about it
I like Takemura so I decided to save him. I use charge jump so I just jumped straight up through the hole I fell through and got to him very quickly and easily. And with Ping, Threat Detector and Widow Maker, just blasted all the enemies through the walls. Dead easy
well that fuckin sucks…
what skills/attributes should I upgrade if i want to be stealth/pistol? want to be able to use all the slow motion skills, started playing on PS5 lastnight 😅
How did I never think about it? I could've saved him.. now I feel bad 😀
