I am very old school, so I have always used the arrow keys and numpad for PC games. But you can’t rebind WASD in Cyberpunk 2077 at the moment. So here is how to work around that, and also rebind the F key as well.

What if you don't see an Usersetting.json file, but you do see an input mapping file? Also, this is 2020 why the ** did CDPR not let us rebind movement keys?
Lefty here that uses arrow keys so definitely had to rebind the F key which I changed to Numpad1

Would you know how to change the "quick melee attack" button ? I use ZSQD on an AZERTY keyboard, with Q being the "move left" button, but because the "quick melee attack" button is Q and I can't find HOW to change it, I can't play, because in the first mission, as soon as I have to shoot bad guys and move to the left, my character does a……. well, quick melee attack. I'm finding it EXTREMELY frustrating. ^^;

in notepad++ what area do I segway into using? U got file edit, search etc. What makes it work. your the master? what the fuck do I go to in notepad++.

Yeah it rebinded, but now the button i remapped to also works to open the character menu. So every time i open the car door, I also enter the character menu. Fucking unplayable…

Seriously just re-downloaded game tonight thinking it's been months, surely most of this silly stuff will be fixed.
NOPE. I mean right now is the Steam NexFest which allows you to download many demo games. Out of I think 10 only 3 didn't allow me to change the keybinds. Left handed people exist and seriously fuck these guys for not making this simple change. Fuck them. It is just so annoying, like how can a company that makes billions of dollars not fix a simple keybind menu? How?
I could have done this using my keyboard software as well but the point is your on-screen prompts remains "F" or whatever.
