  1. Just an FYI, you can do this with weapon mods too. Epic Crunch is +7 dmg and epic Pacifier is 12% crit dmg. The crit% mod seems to have a much lower rate for whatever reason, but the other two seem to produce epics at the same rate as armadillo.

  2. I'm only level 24 but level 18 Tech so I unlocked Edgerunner Artisan. But I get no option to craft Legendary, never knew about the Level 33 thing, which is bullshit!

  3. I see you also reached level 13 in your skill progression, for which you get rewarded with: "Epic crafting specs unlocked." Isn't this also mandatory, along with the other requirements you mentioned in the video?

  4. For anyone who waited to get into CP2077 the crafting of the Armadillo (and other) mods is different. You don't get the base crafting spec and get a random quality of the item when you craft it. You must find the crafting spec for rare and then epic. The rare is in the mission you will find here and in many of the other vids. But the epic is found <SPOILER>

During the Riders of the Storm Panam quest. I found it in two locations. One in a box in the lower half of the main building, and the second was in a box down in the basement of the same building in the room outside where Saul is kept.

  5. So how it works, is that if the perk upgrades an item, it counts as a craft on it's own and subsequently has a chance to upgrade as well? Or is it just a random chance to upgrade to anything better? With higher rarities simply having a lower chance to appear than more common ones.

  6. I've been crafting hundreds of these and only getting rare quality armadillo mods, but granted I am using a rare quality armadillo crafting spec, I don't have a lower quality one. I meet all the requirements…

  7. Goes in corner … with LVL27 and 414 armor….
    meh me
Note for self: I need character LVL33, LVL12 Tech ability (which I have)
(LVL16 Tech ability allows you not to lose mods when you're dissembling your wears)

  8. Yeah, this doesn't work anymore as of 1.31. Your crafting attribute for armadillo now scales with your crafting level. You need 9 to craft rare, 14 to craft epic armadillo armor. It doesn't seem to matter how high a level your crafting is, you can't craft legendary armadillo. I made 200 armadillo mods at uncommon level, every single one of them was uncommon.

  9. It appears that as of 1.5 (if not earlier) the crafting spec. is not there anymore. No box, nothing. Could be a level limitation. Maybe someone higher level can check it. (I'm level 4)
