  1. ⭐UPDATE⭐

-I absolutely think this is a bug in the Cyberpunk settings for hitting 60FPS.
-After reviewing the video frame by frame, proton is registering a 16.6ms frame time in game
-This was also tested on my PC (7900XT/7700X) and works the same way as well
-My recommendation is to test this for yourself and if it feels odd, then move to the 40fps option that I describe later in the video.

  2. Your not hitting 60 fps, its locked at 30, the ui thinks you are because the game is duplicating frames to hit a 60hz output so every frame is reported as two frames. Its not a bug its just Mangohud and MSI afterburner not being compatible with how they set up V-Sync which actually does a good job at syncing it smoothly in this game.

  3. On GTAV you can get over 100 fps if you play on 1152×720 window borderless with a mix of normal and high settings. The problem is that the game will freeze if you pause and try to back out.

  4. This is not a bug. it is running at 30 fps within a 60hz container. the regular frame rate cap has frame pacing issues. the vsync option runs the game at 30 fps and duplicates every frame to get rid of those frame pacing issues. technically the game is outputting 60 frames every second but only 30 of those are unique. the frame rate cap option does nothing once you turn on the 30 fps vsync.

  5. The same story about NFS Unbound. If you enable 30FPS target dynamic resolution – steam deck's overlay will show you constan 60fps but in game you'll see at least 30 fps.
Same story about GTA 5, by default settings overlay shows you 60 fps, in fact you have 30. To fix this you have to disable vsync and restart the game, so you can see real 60.
This is old bug with overlay and target/DSR resolution

  6. What you are doing is that you are running the game at 60Hz with an in-engine half-framerate vsync. Gamescope will recognize it as 60fps as it will still see it as 60 updates per second, but in reality the engine duplicates every frame … with other words, you are NOT running the game at 60fps, but rather you are running at 30fps. With that being said, this is the most responsive way to play Cyberpunk, so I would still recommend the settings.

  7. Ставит максимум 60 фпс и вертикалку 30…. И говорит "смотрите 60фпс!". Вот только есть маааааааленький нюанс… При таких настройках будет 30фпс. И это прекрасно видно при игре.
