  1. It’s funny how in the normal version, it’s all upbeat, techno, other J-pop stuff and they’re singing bout certain adult activities, if that’s what they’re on about.

But this guitar version? No lyrics, a much more gentler tune. It hits different. It feels like you’re reflecting on fond memories you had with your friends back in secondary school before losing contact with them for a while, or you’re trying to read a poem you made to honour the memory of someone close to you, whether be friend of family, that recently passed away, as this play in the background.

Funny how 2 versions of 1 song can have different feelings.

  2. I came across an NPC playing this while heading to meet the Voodoo boys. Bright blue sunny sky with the distant skyscrapers towering above. The sight and peaceful feeling is something I’ll never forget.

  3. Shame that pretty much every npc with a guitar plays this and a couple other rifs on repeat. First time I heard it was a big guy with a fedora chilling on a couch by the one-mind brothers. Just sat there listening to him for like half an hour, city in the background, brothers eyeing me scornfully after having beaten their asses. Then I saw a dude in an alleyway in Japantown playing it… Then a dude in a market, then a guy in some slums and then in the camp. Real shame the luster had almost worn off by then. They went as far as to make every pluck and changed note actually visualized – they're actually playing the songs! It not being a generic animation that doesn't match the sound really makes a huge difference, but I just wish there was a different personality in each location rather than the same tunes everywhere.

  4. Man this guitar version is like the version you hear when you are bang smack in a middle of a mission that is about to go tits up and you do not know if you will live or die at the end of it. But you will try your best to do so anyway so you can go home with Panam together.

In the other hand, the original is the one you hear as you are knee deep in chrome and you have cyberpsychosis episodes where once you get back to your self you cannot remember what happened when you have the black outs as you rampage killing random people while in psychosis hearing ponpon sh** original on repeat.

  5. Started the game almost 3 weeks ago and would always hear the npc playing this. 2 weeks went by and of course I’ve heard the Us Cracks song a lot of times..but somehow I didn’t connect the dots until one day I was humming the Ponpon song in the shower and I was like “WTF? Was the guitarist npc playing this song?? The tune sounds almost the same!” 😂

  6. Im sitting by the fireplace right now with this music. Remember all the choices and connections I made playing this game. It's overwhelming yet oddly comforting. This game changed who I am. And I'll always be thankful for it

  7. "So you wanna dig a tunnel, into arasaka tower?"
"This plan is so risky, but if it's work that's fastest way into mikoshi"
    "What is SERC?"
"a subterranean extraction and removal combine, it's automated tunnel boring"

  8. On my first play through, I probably sat on the top of that roof where you box the twins and listended to that guy strumming the guitar for an hour. I imagined my V resting against the wall, drinking a beer, and thinking "this ain't half-bad." A moment of respite in a chaotic city.

  9. The fact that this is an acoustic cover of a J-POP song is insane to me. They are the exact same song, note for note, and yet still seem completely unrelated from one another

  10. If anyone wants to you can build off what lyrics I've made for this

Come on now and sit with me. Just come and sit and try to listen to my story. I know sometimes the world's against you. But if you just go stand real tall no one will bring you down. Go now man and show the city what you got. But promise me that you'll come back and let go of your past. 'Cuz you seem to forget that people love you now. Because your still just stuck in your past when you got hurt

That's all I got if anyone wants to add off that your free to try to all my cyberpunk brothers and sisters love you all and good night ❤❤❤

  11. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Jesus said to Thomas, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me". There is only one way to heaven. That Way is Jesus and his word of truth. No other can grant us eternal life.

  12. Always on the go and hear it everywhere in the game, but you’re so busy doing stuff you can’t really pay attention. Listening to it here you can hear the whole thing and omg it is! For some reason I always thought it was some Samurai song since Johnny was always around. That’s so cool!
