I'm getting some weirdness with my 1080TI. I can drop to a res of 1024×768 and still not get a faster frame rate. Even on the low preset. In fact, only at Ultra does is start to drop by 5-10 fps, bit High, Med, Low and all manner of custom options, and I get no faster frame rates. Max I've seen is around 70fps. Even been through all the video options for vsync, max fps and all sorts.
It FEELS like there's maybe a CPU bottleneck, but I don't think that should be the case with an i7 10k something or other (don't have the exact model details on me right now).
RDR2 team here and based on this test I'm disappointed with the graphic Style. 😯
How the hell did we get to a point where games need 11gig VRAM for just 50-65fps and how did it happen so quick? im astounded at how much power we need now to run some newer titles.
This makes me Pray that the new budget GPU's aka 3050/3050ti are 6gigs GDDR6X gpu's that can hang with a RTX 2070 at bare minimum cause otherwise were all screwed 2021 to 2023 games will need more then 10gig VRAM easy.
Пиздец, вот и устарела моя 1080 ti, придется менять.
Wow Guys!!!!! Can u believe that in 4k 1080 ti is giving only 17 fps. Rest in peace Hyper Beast :(((((((
MINE KEEPS CRASHING WTF
Great benchmark video, thank you.
Film Grain / off alone gives you about 5-7fps more.
Fog/Clouds/Screen Space Reflections/ Decal/ on High and not Ultra gives you 10fps more
How do you keep your gpu under 70c degrees? Mine goes way up to 84c while playing, using 3600 ryzen instead.
Why on "ultra"? Useless benchmark
I appreciate you doing a lot of movement with the camera. It truly shows FPS in such a detailed world.
Friggen love my 1080ti
Is this with DLSS?
i got 1080ti
corei5 9400f
and 16gb ram
but i can't play in ultra settings like this,i got so much lag even after the patch
How do you get 100 fps, I can't get that even with low settings,
1080 ti + i7-9700k
I checkt with 3770k and Vega 64 on my channel
Bruh i have same specs and dont run the game this well
On an i7 4790k with 1080ti. Was looking for an alternative cpu, can't run the game smoothly @60fps due to temps. Just wanted to say I really liked your benchmarking – actual gameplay of perusing, driving and shooting for each. Subbed. What settings would you recommend for consistent gameplay on this rig?
Worst game ever
Ok.. It seems I know what card I´m gonna buy used 🙂
Nice
Rtx 2060 with dsll has more than 50 fps on 2k
monster card
Now to figure out if I play on 1080p and near max settings to hit 60 Fps…
Or do I take a frame dip and play on 1440p…
I'm so glad thd 3060ti dropped, the value for power is absolutely insane
Glad I got a 2070 super over a 1080ti especially with newer games.
My settings with 1080Ti at 1440p and getting near 60fps.

Still rocking my Aorus 1080ti extreme edition and playing on 2k. Will upgrade to the latest card when this baby finally gives up on me.
My 1080ti is only getting 38-45 fps on these settings @1440p without v-sync
i7 8700k as well
is there a difference between 1080 simple and 1080 ti ? if so, is it big ?
If you don't care about raytracing, go out and get this card in the used market rn. Best bang for your buck. 1080ti is still a beast.
damn! I am grateful to see this YouTube, there is nothing wrong with my 1080 Ti GTX, only my CPU is not strong enough to match the GPU. for your information, I only get FPS below 40. My CPU is i5 6500, haha LOL
To achieve solid 60 fps on 1080ti
https://youtu.be/qJ2A__WhrdY , if you prefer visual quality over fps there is another tuning video for you https://youtu.be/WbhasfH7zQ8
Gaming in 1440p isn't a real option on a GTX 1080. Hoping to upgrade to a new gpu next year.
What refresh rate is the monitor running on?
Does the game scale well on high core count CPU's? Or does it use mostly 2-4 cores?
Something seems off because you're getting way higher than all of the other current benchmarks with similar configuration or even better
