Cyberpunk 2077: How to get 70% Friendship (or more accurately “metamorphosis” because this is actually the stat that tracks how much you are becoming Johnny Silverhand). It is easier than most guides say it is (you no longer have to jump through hoops and say specific dialogue, at least not anymore, because it is a transformation you can no longer impact through negative responses). For a video specifically about getting the secret ending (Don’t Fear) The Reaper See my other video linked below:

  1. Amazing job as always, my man Tez. I would love to check about the landfill conversation, if other dialogue options unlock the don't fear the reaper ending.

  2. As for me, there was no difference in what I've said to him I still got 70%, but I've not got the Don't Fear The Reaper ending only cuz I made wrong dialog choice in chippin in quest.

  3. 4:33 correcting – it doesn't matter what you pick in this conversation. Both answers are triggering the same result. Tested on 1.6 by me choosing the second option. It was never a "secret" ending. It's just ending option for most empathic players. It's hard to miss this ending if you have this quality. Most of those players got this on their first run. It's also helps that those type of players are extremely undecisive and could sit on the roof for more than just 3 minutes realizing this isn't going to end well for some characters.

  4. Welp…I'm at 60% and I still have to complete Like A Supreme, so I'm guess I'll hit the 70% mark after I complete that. I'm worried that I made a bad choice in the Oilfield scene by choosing "Too bad we didn't talk like this before" etc. I guess we'll see. I've done most of the endings now, and I was really hoping to hit the Open Secret Ending for the first time before giving the game [and myself] a rest at least until Update 1.7 arrived, if not the Phantom Liberty DLC. Oh well…. It will be interesting to see how the ending plays out with my femme V having 'betrayed' Panam in order to get the cool red Coyote….

  5. I like your channel because you do actual research, don't take what people say for granted, only state things you have tested and verified, and thus dispel the mythologies that result from shoddy research and blind faith. Incidentally, knowing when the majority of people are misinformed and taking advantage of that is the easiest way to make money, because facts don't care what people believe! 😁

  6. The most important lines are "The guy who saved my life" and "Nah, fucked that up too." There are no more requirements as long as you advance the Johnny quests.
I always opt for "Shame we didn't talk like this earlier" and I get the secret ending. The only ending imo 😀

  7. dude something is screwed in my game, I feel like I'm missing so much content, first time i played an unofficial version and finished it, then I bought the actual game, and a lot of stuff is missing including the Kerry missions, it skipped me straight to blistering love..

  8. Nice one Mr Tez. Your videos are a great balance between useful information and entertainment. Your passion for the game is clear and I'm all for that. Onwards and upwards pal.

  9. Pre edit: this whole comment looks like I hate you but I'm not trying to be a dick I'm just autistic, appreciate your videos.

Kinda misleading in that you can get away with even more than you stayed. Additionally, what you failed to notice is that you can get away with just about anything if the oil field conversation is the only one you fail.

  10. just so people know you dont need to get 70% relationship with Johnny for that ending, I accidentally found it because I went to pick up my ordered Pizza up the road and didnt pause the game lol and to make it even funnier I thought that I discovered something that know one else knew, but I was wrong 🙂

  11. Ways to f* up: Flip Johnny off after Helman. Having this conversation isimportant. I was able to not get 70% on an A*hole playthrhough. Hearing Johnny out always is the key. Also at the oil fields you have to check the right convo… Which is silly. You could be more sympathetic / empathetic, which in my mind should work also. Then again, a true friend is able to call their friends on their BS, which this simulates.

  12. @B00marrows made a great point! The legacy term "Friendship" or "Relationship" we've all been using is inaccurate (including me in this video – old habits), it's not actually your bond with JS, instead it's how much he has overwritten you how much you have metamorphosed into or "become him". This also makes sense from why it is streamlined now. You can't fight it, doesn't matter how rude you are to him (which is why it was originally believed to be a relationship/friendship) meter, the only thing that advances it is complying and actually doing the quests for him, moving the story forward and thus his digital-psyche takeover. This is why 100% only comes in the New Dawn Fade Ending.
