  1. Badowski. and I don't want to seem too harsh but he bears a lot of the responsibility for the games failures as well as it being so terribly incomplete.
He lacked the temperament and the judgement skills to be a game director.

  2. The only cyberpunk thing im looking forward to is the anime by studio trigger, and honestly I don't think thats gonna change.

Also good for Mateusz, I hope he finds a company that treats him better than CDPR, as I wish for all CDPR employees.

  3. So apparently this new game director worked on Star Wars the old republic which gives a positive outlook, but also skeptical due to the new direction this new guy is taking the series.

  4. Man… I wasn't sure what to think about Adam's replacement since they basically canceled multi-player, but Mateusz leaving puts this transition in a very different light. His work was incredible. I am honestly a little nervous for the direction CDPR is headed. This has live service model written all over it.

  5. Thanks for the update LKM. All I can hope for with CDPR leader ship is that they’re being held accountable. At least I hope that’s the case what it’s going on. Ea, BioWare ( especially the current version of it) does not inspire confidence in any way shape or form. I bases off of a consistent pattern and it’s not a good one. And now this guy is the new lead for cyber punk, all the best but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried/concerned

  6. well hes just the director. right? they decide on what the creative teams cooked up and has the final say on decisions. its not like they stop producing top stories and great characters.

  7. i know ppl roll their eyes when 'woke culture' is spoken of, you cant deny it exists.
but you need to open your eyes as to its impact on the game industry and dev teams
get 2-3 in a company and you'll see it fall apart, it happened at bioware and now CDPR
get a few overly sensitive work workers and they start to push out the talent who have been there the longest, and change the DNA of the team.
same thing happening at ubisoft to

    dont believe me?
fair enough but wait and see what happens in a year or 2……bioware 2.0

  8. They must be doing some major work on the game because there has not been any real news on this game of late. I want DLCs and I want deleted content fully integrated into the game.

  9. There is so much that CDPR could do with this in regards for Future content. So many unused areas and obvious assets cut back. The amount of lore and history that Cyberpunk has gives the team a huge amount of opportunity to expand on in the game world. I'm excited to see what the future holds.

  10. Cdpr is done. Its gonna take alot of work to turn that ship around, more tham a few updates and half assed dlcs. It was a good run, but the suits got too greedy and ruined their good will with fans. Shouldve just let the devs rock out.

  11. i've now spent around 300 hours playing cyberpunk. my almost definitive list for what's is lacking is:

1- random encounters with gangs and max tac in the streets
2- Improve the npcs driving ai
3- City interactivity: implement animations for drinking at bars and eating at stands
4- Make each clothes store sell a particular type of clothes
5- Customization for V, for the vehicles and for the guns
6- Change the quest system: remove the pre-placed icons and let the player discover the missions more organically, for example let the fixers tell you about them also when you pass by with your car.
7- Drug consumption, bd clubs, drinking effects, more options for prostitutes. This may sound silly but it's absolutely necessary to really give night city the tone it's supposed to have.
8- Make V's apartament customizable, or at least more interactive, allowing you to keep clothes in the closet and seeing them, as well as displaying any guns in the stash, not only the iconic ones. Also create high end homes customizable for different paths: edgerunner home, netrunner home, corpo home, etc.
9- For god's sake, change dawn time from 3 am to 6 am, it's ridiculous.

If they implemented these, the game would feel A LOT better, and as you can see it's mostly silly stuff, because the core of the game it's AWESOME: the gunplay, the hacking, the characters, silverhand, the conversations, the music…. but it's all dragged down by the dullness of its surrounding world.
