  1. There is no future for this game. Because the company is falling apart. They are based in Poland, now Poland is going down! There will be no update or dlc.

  2. Well, I heard about some exploits and decided to test them and got pleased to see that I can now play at 1080p with the same fardware as the launch. Plus the systems look promising, BUT one thing that worries me is that the trail they are following with the gear being more RPG-y is that those systems are supposed to be used in a squad, like the one in MASS EFFECT, not a solo game like Deus Ex or RDR2.
The changes at fixers are 50/50 for me. It's interesting that the jobs appear as you get fame, but now they are streamlined, taking the decisions out of the player's hands. To be RPG-y they need more gigs and some that interfere with the storyline of others.
And above all WORLD CHANGES and LESS SHARDS AND MORE ACTION showing the side stories. Make some of the shards ACTUAL SCENES where you witness stuff, like for example Nolan talking about his daughter and Peter Orta.

  3. Patch 1.5 was a welcome change. I downloaded the patch. The changes/improvements werent enough to warrant an entire playthrough. Honestly it's too little and too late. Cyberpunk is old news now. Time to move on 🤷‍♂️

  4. I just bought cyberpunk 2077 t-shirt from GameStop today because I want to support the Developers to hell with the leadership. It was on clearance for $3. Also saw from yongyea's video that modders have included some of the stuff that was missing in the game I wanted to cry.

  5. Cyberpunk has always been much more of an RPG than the Witcher 3 as far as I'm concerned. It has more varied endings, much more detailed character customization, and much more variety to combat.

I think the reason that so many people don't consider it an RPG is because you still play as V and a lot of your choices lead to similar outcomes, but I think what Cyberpunk prioritizes instead of branching the story is funnel it. Even though similar events will play out, they will in a way that feels much more natural for your character. Of course if you don't roleplay it won't matter, but the game is set up to allow you to. Your V can be very different from another V if you want them to. CDPR has always been about crafting beautiful narratives even if they don't branch off as much, so I think all of this is fine.

  6. I am still experiencing random crashes, and it drops the HUD every few hours too – which is really annoying, as you have to save, then quit, and then reboot – sometimes you have to reboot something else, and then reboot CP2077 to fix it.

I am playing on my PS5 – and while much better than the diabolical release version, I still have massive pop up, thin population counts, and the traffic is a little off. I have just bought GTA V PS5 and will compare how they operate, as this will intrigue me.

Hopefully they find a way to polish this game and actually get it back on track. – that would impress me massively.

  7. How the hell can the Leadership be this dumb not to tell the Developers to save either in a new file or a USB drive what I saw in that mod then come back to it at a later time?

  8. I'd like them to fix crafting. I found a legendary weapon early on and every level I have to craft to upgrade and the parts required goes up and up and up. Needs a limit that is manageable.

  9. Loot, and stat-based gear isn't enough for a game to hold the title of an RPG for that IMO the game would need to prioritize player agency as it relates to the story and side quests to me this is best demonstrated by introducing multiple paths and outcomes for each mission or gig in a way so that the world or future mission and character relationships are affected by those choices permanently.

  10. Growing up, Table Top Gaming wasn't an option where I lived so I was pretty clueless about a lot of that. When I first heard about Cyberpunk 2077 I was like "Eh, it seems kinda cool, I might check it out." I like the whole Cyberpunk genre of Sci-fi (I was even involved in a few short genre films). A Twitch community I'm in, got me more hyped about the game and I got it when it first released. It definitely had it's issues but something about it… It had good bones. The world of it is great. Now, I've fallen in love with it and I'm obsessed and I'm going back and learning about the lore behind Cyberpunk. I have a co-worker that's really into it as well. It's cool because we talk about it a lot and have inside jokes. He's been talking to me about getting me into Cyberpunk Red. I'm definitely interested in getting into that.
