  1. So what was the bad news? I watched the entire video and I never saw a bad state of the future of CP discussed. There were some minor delays (which is a great thing considering the state CP2077 was released) and that is all.

    Am I missing something?
    Is he calling delays bad???
That can't be the case when CP2077 SHOULD have been delayed, but wasn't.

So what's the bad state of CP? I know I'm high, but I'm not THAT high. =8-Þ

  2. This isn't bad news, after the debacle that was 2077's initial release, they need to take their time and not rush further development, but in general they should be pacing themselves and slowly bring the game into focus as the game they originally advertised. As for next gen witcher 3, there should be little needed to get that running smoothly on series x and ps5. Considering you could unlock the settings on the switch model and it was literally just running the game on a low preset or whatever, the ps5 and series x consoles should be able to just crank it to high/ultra. And then maybe patch in a higher resolution texture pack. Personally I am tired of single player story driven games being rereleased into the ground and constantly pushed. Witcher 3 does not need a next gen release. Skyrim does not need a next gen release, GTAV does NOT need a next gen release. These new consoles are backwards compatible. These studios need to shift focus to new titles, and fixing actual issues with current titles, not re-releasing old titles that already can be played on the new systems just fine.

  3. Its not bad news!!! They should take as long as they need!!
Are people really going to go down the same road as before and force them to release early? Look what happend last year. Jesus how many fish brains are there man 🤦.

  5. I'm not super bummed about this either, I held off buying the game because of the bugs, and they have done nothing but scare me away from it permanently since it's release.

  7. This is technically the worst game ever. Even worse than ET. Just think about it, millions of dollars invested to promote the game, the delays, the waiting , the hype that evolved all arround the game, just to end up releasing this trash.

I'm sure this game made history and not for good reasons…

  8. i prefer a buggy game (That gets fixed) than to wait a year for a game that works. Now all ppl complain that they are making them wait, when they are making everything right as per their previous complaints. Basically nothing makes these ppl happy.

  9. CD Projekt is slow and methodical at their best. They always have been. With 4-5 year dev cycles being their norm even when games were quicker to make. Now that games are taking longer and requiring more and more, that 4-5 year dev cycle will likely need to be closer to 6-7 years to really nail the vision they are going for. On the flip side you can hire more people to try and make the game faster, but you run into massive scaling issues where you have too many cooks in the kitchen. One art director can't manage 700 people from 8 different countries all submitting changes every single day so you lose that cohesive vision and design. Same with technical directors and so on. There comes a certain point where you can work on something for a year and make no progress because of organizational issues.

  10. “We want to make it right” uh huh. 🙄 they will fool many of you again too. Bethesda does this as well but all forgotten when a new title or release comes.
