Kerry Eurodyne is the former vocals and lead/rhythm guitar for Samurai. A frequent central character appearing in Cyberpunk 2013, Cyberpunk 2020, and Cyberpunk 2077. Kerry Eurodyne achieved initial fame as a member of Samurai, performing vocals, lead and rhythm guitar. He went in with a vision of changing the world through music, one he shared with his best friend, Johnny Silverhand, but their perspectives regarding the execution of this plan often came to conflict. This lead to Kerry’s multiple attempts at leaving the band, which were nearly successful at launching his own solo career, but, eventually, the complex relationship he had with his friend always pulled him back.
Us Cracks were formed from three American-born Japanese girls, who were candidates for a call from MSM MediaCorp. Us Cracks were an instant hit and were setting trends in the lazrpop genre in Japan. Us Cracks became a phenomenon with their masterpiece of marketing that grew fast in East Asia. After taking over Asia, the idol band settled next in Europe where they became an instant hit.
In 2077, the goal of Us Cracks was to tour America and with it came a deal with Kerry Eurodyne to perform his hit song “User Friendly” during their tour. While in Night City, the Cracks met Kerry in person with a merc named V where they all found out they had been played by their label. Us Cracks went on to tour through many cities such as Tokyo, Paris, Sydney, and Night City.
Johnny Silverhand, originally born as Robert John Linder, is a character throughout the Cyberpunk series, as well as an influential Rockerboy and the lead singer of the band Samurai before the breakup in 2008.[2][3] An ex-US military veteran who defined the rockerboy movement to what it is today. He was the most prominent figure that fought against the corrupted US government and the Megacorporations. Johnny concentrates most of his anger to the Arasaka Corporation. He’s charismatic and quite the charmer. However Johnny is also known to be irrational, impulsive, and a manipulator.
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure role-playing video game, being developed and published by CD Projekt RED, scheduled to be released December 10, 2020. The game was announced during the 2012 CD Projekt Red Summer Conference as the official video game adaption of Mike Pondsmith’s pen and paper RPG Cyberpunk 2020. Originally titled Cyberpunk, the 2077 subtitle was added in late 2012.
The player character V, is contracted along with Jackie Welles, to steal an important piece of technology from the Arasaka Corporation – know as the chip of immortality – by fixer Dexter Deshawn. The duo manage to infiltrate the megacorp and steal the device but the plan goes awry and Jackie appears to die. After meeting with Dexter, V is betrayed and left for dead in a landfill, but manages to survive – possibly in-part due to the chip of immortality – and is haunted by the digital-ghost of iconic Rockerboy, Johnny Silverhand.
