  1. I believe the publisher's bad past will be foregiven at next title as long as they maintain one concept which they did successfully in cyberpunk. And that is selling people a standard $60 edition but have had it inlude limited edition little trinkers, art books, digital content, and some real world tangible souvineer. Genius so obvious to market base price variants with premium bonuses as standard. Makes me a preorderer who always got that limited statue that went useless, or premium DLC that just makes my character seem p2w, is a part of the launch week hype experience, and I got that in full with a preordered ps4 physical disc, but got to keep a metal medallion necklace as a bonus

  2. They created a fake "gameplay demo" for E3 2018. They didn't have any game built at that time.

    You know what that means?

They did NOT start development until 2018!

    2018!!!!!!

Just a couple years of development time? No wonder this game is such a damn mess!!

  3. Yeah just stop forcing developers to have a publisher to publish the games. The publisher’s never cared except for their money. They are not the one’s making the game so their reputation cannot be tanked and be sued for it.While gamers can be to hyped for a game. The publishers are the one who waste time and money expecting to show a trailer that won’t be like the final product.Gamers get suckered in cause the publisher’s intervened and wants to have more sold products than quality products.Titus was forced to change SuperMan 64 version and their rights to publish the PS1 ran out.Check the AVGN Season 13 on cinnemassacre for more information.

  4. My family has been running a manufacturing company for just over 40 years. There are three questions we ask ourselves in this order.

#1 Is this a good product?

#2 Is this good for our customers?

    #3 Will this make money?

If the answer to one of those first two questions is no, then we don't even bother with the third question, because at that point it doesn't matter. It has served us well thus far, and I know it's going to keep serving us well in the future.

Why does everybody keep saying they don't want / think this is going to ruin CD Projekt Red? Shouldn't this type of behavior ruin a company? The more these people get away with this type of BS, the more it's going to happen in the future. It doesn't matter what their intentions are. Other companies are going to look at this situation as an example of what they can get away with. If we don't hold CD Projekt Red accountable, this will directly result in more people getting screwed over in the future.

And because I know what happens in these type of situations, don't try to tell me that they deserve a second chance. This type of BS doesn't happen accidently. This was a calculated strategic move that they are confident will be forgotten and will be beneficial for them in the long run. Major companies don't make these kind of mistakes. It's just not possible.

  5. The other problem is that this game was MEANT for past/old gen consoles (PS4/XB1) even right from the start. So WHY since the last delay on the one before that (can't remember which) did the idiots at CDPR say 'oh you know what, screw it. We'll release this game on next gen too at the same time and make the devs do twice or three times the work'? THIS is the problem right here. They should have done a staged release like every other game, on past/old gen first and then and ONLY then when everything is working properly, release it on next gen.

  6. This actually lines up pretty well with a video I saw earlier today pointing out how many things are missing from this game that games over a decade ago had. Soft body physics, rigged character animations that project a real shadow, water physics that are not just a trick, AI that can actually path find FFS. It's kind of insane.

  7. Image a massive group of devs got together and formed a co-op. They would make the BEST video games on the planet! They may take a long time to make each game but the time and dedication put into developing each game without some upper management A-holes crunching them would produce the video games of our dreams!

  8. RT… I've said this from the beginning DO NOT blame the Devs for Cyberpunk 2077 being crap, blame Corporate Management because they wanted to make a profit before the end of their fiscal year in 2021, at the same time make money for their shareholders and who can blame them for that. But, when the shares dipped by over 50% and the top 1% of shareholders lost money as a result of Corporate Management misleading and lying yo their investors.

Those are the people you should hold accountable not the Devs… I do believe some of the Devs have received threats about from angry gamers, I mean for heavens sake death threats because a game was released too early. Really guys these are grown men acting like 10 years old boys having a temper tantrum over a game.

The top 1% investors bringing a Class Action Lawsuit against CDPR and Corporate Management have the nerve to say. We didn't do anything wrong we will fight the lawsuit. We'll guess what CDPR it wouldn't surprise me if you lost in court because you misled investors into believing a game was finished. When we all know it wasn't.

  9. They should have at least tested it on consoles before they released it, it appears they only tested the game on PC and not very long, when the game was first released even on pc the game crashed almost every hour.
