Welcome to Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City! Come on up to the Counter-intelligence level of Arasaka Tower. This ambient soundtrack video features a number of tension building tracks that play during the corpo lifepath, from the first scene in the bathroom to your talk with Jenkins in his office, all variants of Paul Leonard-Morgan’s Battleground Arasaka.

Use this ambient soundtrack video as some music to aid your focus while you study, inspiration to help you immerse in a scene for writing or art, some background audio to help you sleep – or just sit back, watch, and relax.

  1. Thank you to imtalator for requesting this video a while ago now! I hope this covers some of what you were looking for. I think you may have been more specifically after an extended version of the music around 6:40 ? However, I noticed that the second half of that office music bleeds into Takemura’s theme, and since I plan on making a video of that piece soon I didn’t want to include it too heavily here.

But! I am happy to return to this save and make a version with just the office soundtrack, if you find that you’d still like it after this video and Takemura’s. Either way, thank you for the request, and I hope you enjoy this one too!

  2. Ahhh, corporate life. My jam.

    "I expected those files yesterday!"

Corpo lifepath i felt was a strong choice, i loved all the dialog options, especially ones leading to V systematically unravelling the inner workings.

  3. Might I recommend shorter videos as well as the hour long videos, shorter videos tend to get more video views and some people might only want one part of the soundtrack. Could grow more doing so and maybe get into the algorithm more!

  4. Thematically, the Corpo Life Path should be canon in Cyberpunk. In the greater context of the whole story and V's character arc it makes the most sense. Starts as a corporat, is betrayed and killed by the corpo structure/heirarchy and then rises to the occasion. In V's final moments on the rooftop he/she must decide whether to succumb to the corpos to survive or risk everything to continue living without compromising him/herself. All along with Johnny acting as V's pseudo-conscience with his own history. As Jackie puts it "you can kick the rat out of the corp but you can't kick the corp out of the rat"… Or is it?

  5. Man, this theme is so oppressive. You really feel how navigating the corporate landscape of Arasaka is like walking through a minefield with a blindfold over your eyes.

  6. Just played through this intro for the first time yesterday. That moment when you ride in Jenkins’s AV while looking at the Night City, with this music playing, was so awesome.

  7. I wish we had more than 20 minutes in Arasaka. I could have played 4 or 5 hours in this building, trying to solve dilemmas (like deciding whether or not to extract an agent spying for us at Biotechnica), and experiencing consequences of these choices. I really wish we had more time living in this incredible lifestyle.

  8. The corpo introduction in the Arasaka tower is one of, if not the most emblematic passage of the game. The gossiping employees, the architecture, the light, the claustrophobic atmosphere, the music…

  9. As an IRL suit I was totally disappointed that instead of living a life of byzantine intrigue and information warfare, I was immediately kicked out. Worse, I couldn't drop my CV to other corpos and ask Meredith to recommend me to Militech, so that I can work with them to ruin 'saka's day! That office space felt comfy and I felt homesick and abandoned for the entire playthrough.

  10. I can't play the game any other way than Corpo, I tried Nomad and Street Kid but Corpo is the only role I feel like I could slip into. When I was at Konpeki Plaza wearing the expensive suit I felt like my character came close to muttering "if I could just get back to work…"

  11. I'll never forget december 10th 2020 when this music started playing as I walked in Arasaka's building to start my Cyberpunk journey.

I knew instantly I was going to have what I was searching for. Getting to see the ugly broken machine from the inside.

  12. Nothing like some corpo music while you work to make you feel like some mega corporation is squeezing all the value out of you. Makes for a surprisingly productive work sesh
