This one's funny as I didn't even drive just went to search the garage and found him in the trunk on accident lol, then closed it in sudden shock without talking 😂😂🤣, but then you do get more money out of the reward from wakako by letting him go though
Can you open it (again) after you have already arrived at the meeting point and the quest says "Leave the area"? If yes then that's something you should not be able to do. I never delivered the guy, first playthrough I drove a bit then let him go, and after that I just opened the trunk as soon as I got into garage, saves quite a lot of time that way.
I honestly opened the trunk on accident before even driving off. Decided to let him go as he definitely didn't deserve to be handed over to the Tygers.
I have yet to be able to complete this mission without letting him go, the game just won’t let me, it needs to be patched
