  1. They are so full of shit, they lied knowing full well the game was broken trash just to make those day one sales as fat as possible. They have no real intention of fixing the game beyond it just barely chugging along before moving on. Hell they already moved on to their next game leaving this game to fester. Fuck CDPR they are no better than EA, Ubisoft or Activision just another greedy company who builds good will with customers just to rip them off.

  2. I have still got a feeling that Paweł isn't telling us everything. It looks like a lame excuse that adding Ciri into the game would somehow break the immersion.

Yes, adding her as a character that you could talk to would probably be not the best decision ever, but I myself never actually expected that. Remember, for example, Hearts of Stone DLC for TW3. While completing the first two wishes of Olgierd, one can actually see Gaunter O'Dimm's face in the background multiple times (yes, that's true, if you didn't know it yet). Why not add something like that, with Ciri shortly appearing in the background during some cutscene?

Instead, they made, to my opinion, a much worse decision of making The Witcher 3 (and, consequently, all of the Witcher books and games) a part of Cyberpunk universe. I'm talking about that easter egg in the start of the Corpo lifepath, where you can find a journal about retro gaming that talks about The Witcher 3.

Oh, how much logic does the existence of this journal break! Was Ciri even describing the Cyberpunk world at all when talking to Geralt? 'Cause if Cyberpunk and The Witcher are parallel universes, then how can The Witcher 3 be an actual game in Cyberpunk? What if Ciri just played the game? Would she see her future in there?

Instead of doing what everyone anticipated for, they just made a reference to TW3 that literally nullified their own reference to Cyberpunk in TW3. An easter egg contradicting an easter egg. How wonderful.

Either they made a completely idiotic move or Paweł isn't telling us the whole truth.

  3. Maybe with the whole references things, they should have done something like fallout with the "wild wasteland" setting, so that it was optional if there were a bunch of references or not.

    P.S Can I get a chippin' in?

  4. Pawel always sounds so passionate and sincere. He doesn't really have to put himself out there when there's so much bad blood coming to anything CDPR-related but he still does it.

  5. Bruh, why do they afraid to add Ciri as a little side mission? It would be one of the best fan service all time. They literally added Death Stranding BB into their lore lol. I like Pawel but if they really think that adding Ciri cameo would break immersion they are stupid. Sorry for bad language but CDPR spend more money on marketing than developing the game. There is no walking button for keyboard players, we have to run everywhere in this “RPG” game. Ugh more i think abouth their decitions more i get depressed.

  6. I agree with Pawel, Ciri being in Cyberpunk world would breaking immersion. But putting famous people, influencer, too many easter eggs in Cyberpunk world is breaking immersion too at least for me.
