  1. Not a lawyer, but I'd guess just dropping support for the last gen SKUs would be an actual class action lawsuit waiting to happen. It becomes an argument of the level of support a consumer should expect, but the industry's precedent has been support doesn't stop immediately during a transition/upgrade year. That combined with the almost ludicrous shortage of the next-gen SKUs (not to mention a dozen other variables) makes it unreasonable to think everyone could or would switch immediately upgrade their hardware.

  2. Can someone who’s knowledgeable on the subject give me a quick rundown? So from what I’m hearing they are working on the next gen update and then possibly a dlc? Personally I don’t care about the graphics or even bug fixes I just want a continuation on the story. So from what I’m getting there will be a dlc but how long would the wait be? A rough estimate.

  3. The claim that the system most people have needs to be unsupported so the 5% of the player base that paid %1,000+ for the few scalper consoles says everything about THOSE players and nothing else.

  4. CDPR is done. Today is August 10th which means Cyberpunk has been out for 9 months. Cyberpunk 2077 died, and it's truth since we got nothing since that time (and while patches did improve stability that's it).

  5. Honestly due to hardware requirements they shouldn't have developed for the previous gen consoles in the first place, but since they did they need to stick with it and make the game is as high of quality that they can with whats available.

  6. I’m utterly convinced that no matter what they say publicly, they want this game out of the way – they already made their money, now all it is is constant bad press…their only concern right now will be working out what they can release as dlc for minimum effort and resources.

  7. Really wish they’d add pilotable AV’s in this game. NC sure is beautiful but the best thing about any city is it’s Skyscrapers, in Cyberpunk you only get to enjoy them in their full glory when going to NorthOak or the badlands. The verticality in the game is almost never utilized. Imagine being to fly around the city just like the beginning of the game, customizable weather and rooftop assaults in progress would be amazing new content to breathe more life in the game. The best and most powerful people in the city are high up, and even though becoming a legend in NC is the main goal of the game; we never experience NC through someone of powers perspective. We get invited to penthouses from friends in high places but we never get to own that or even implement that. Imagine V having an even better sky rise apartment smack dab in the middle of the city with a big window where you can see other buildings plastered with screens advertising Nicola and AV’s flying around 😪

  8. I’m so glad CDPR are getting called out and backlash for this crap game. I called it about a year or two before it released when they started announcing all these changes and stuff that was cut that it’d be a shitty experience.

  9. CDPR will not invest time and money in CP2077, they now they fucked up and there is no point in developing it. Also people that work on this crap are living CDPR to save their careers

  10. Fable always has some issues, and now the guy who helped make the worst AAA game since Anthem is working on it? My feelings on this are clearly the opposite of yours,, dude. I'm now even less interested in Fable 4 lol. I didn't think it was possible.

  11. Okay so I can't condone them just abandoning PS4 and XBox. They should never have released it to last gen if it was going to be THAT much of an issue. If they do then everyone who "only" has last gen should be fully reimbursed on their purchases.

As far as DLC and new content how about they bring in a couple of crates of Raid spray and get rid of the myriad of bugs that still inhabit this seven month old game before we start worrying about new? Me personally there is ZERO chance that CDPR gets another fucking penny from me until CP2077 base game is in a state that it should have been in day 1. It is a pretty fun game even so but lets be honest it is a fucking MESS right now. I'm closing in on 400 hours played and this doesn't feel like a AAA release. It feels like a late stage beta. With this in mind there is just no way I could even consider giving them any money. The risk of another half baked product is just WAAY too high.

  12. Thanks s game needs to be redone because you can't fix this game because of all this texture and objects.thete so much high detailed world that any new or new fix will brick something else in the game.on top of that there's other half done mash and object like the train station, police.theres no way they will fix it.

  14. I still think that CDPR should still be working to fix the game for all platforms, I payed for a working game on my Xbox 1X so yes CDPR most defiantly should be working to fix the game for all who got it! I'm still not seeing the new next gen hardware, be it the new Xbox Series S/X, PS5, or GPUs for PCs going for normal MSRP. All the new gen hardware I'm seeing for sale is still going for crazy prices I.E. a new Xbox Series X on Amazon is going for around $1,000 that's on the low end of prices and even a refurbished Xbox Series X on Amazon is going for around $800 which is still just crazy I'm not paying $300 to $500 over MSRP ever. IMO till chips for all these new gen hardware becomes way more easy for manufactures to get I don't see that I'll be able to get any new gen hardware of any type at the normal MSPR. I don't know about others out there but I don't have a money tree in my back yard…That's my two cents on that…

  15. I just bought the game on sale in the Microsoft store for xbox. I've been playing it non stop for nearly a week. I love this game! It is a great game. It could be better but it's still great. I'm playing it on lat gen Xbox 1X and I've had ZERO ISSUES. The only thing I didn't like thus far is the controller preset is horrible but luckily I found the perfect settings on reddit. Anyway I usually buy around 40-50 games per year on xbox for the last decade and this game is honestly one of my favorite games of all time. So improvements or dlc would be amazing. I understand this game had a rough launch and year but as I said I just got it for the first time and I love it.

  16. The game was in development long before the next generation of consoles existed, so what did they have a crystal ball and Knew long in advance what the new hardware was going to be, or is it more likely that the game was and is just poorly coded, whether for over ambitious ideas and greed. The rest is now history, the bigger question should be where is it going from here, will it ever see the love it needs and made great, or will it just end up being forgotten.

  17. a question i ask myself is this: if it were to be re-released entirely, would i buy the same game twice? i personally don't even buy remasters. that's just me. I didn't buy the new mass effect edition because i just didn't see why i would buy the trilogy for more than i spent initially on it. for textures i can find on nexus.
something i can see CDPR doing: "We fixed it (probably), added some things, but it's still $80 (if nor more for a better version)" if this happens, i'm more than okay playing my version where Panam has a rocket launcher spinning in her hands during a car ride.
