  1. ill give the modders a 7 out of 10 but we have to wait until the animation access or script compilers are released by CD Project Red for this mod to be upgraded even further.(but the gorilla arms and the slide dab are hilarious)

  2. I mean, it's not the mod making the animations all janky, that's literally how the retail game animations look, you just never see them because CDPR locked the game to first person. All you need to do is look at V's shadow in the retail game, or look at video's where the camera bugs out and goes third person to see just how janky CDPR's player animations are.

  3. I haven't gotten this game from what I've been seeing that it's only in first person view. I hope that we (XBOX One, Series X, PS4 and 5) gets this soon for players like myself who like this

  4. What's funny is that it isn't the mod that's causing those cursed body movements, its just how the game is lol.
And before you start rambling about it being "literally made as a first person shooter, ofcourse it won't look good",look at call of duty or any fps game for that matter and it's a hundred times better than this.

  5. I did not create this mod. But I do have experience with game development and subsequently modding.
As of right now, there is no effective way to create animations for Cyberpunk 2077. The reason games like Skyrim and Fallout are because Bethesda has essentially left Creation Engine fully accessable to modders. This has allowed modders to create tools for extracting archives, converting file types, and importing new files/overwriting existing files. Animations in Skyrim, for example. Can be created with only a few community made tools and a copy of 3ds MAX.
RedEngine 4 or RedEngine, in general. Does not support this same level of open Engine design. This makes it much more difficult for modders to create open source tools to allow extraction/conversation/importing. It is possible to replace V's body with an NPCs body to increase the quality of animations in Third Person. This still won't be perfect. As of right now, the only legitimate way to make a third person camera for Cyberpunk 2077 would involve creating custom animations. Something that is not currently possible. That then begs the question. Will it ever be possible? I believe the answer is, yes. But only under two circumstances.
One, modders figure out a way to export/convert/import new animations.
Two, CDPR releases tools, granting modders greater access to the engine. Possibly even providing the proper tools needed for working with animations in RedEngine.
Both scenarios are likely a little while away. CDPR has stated in the past that they would make modding accessable on PC sometime after release. Who knows when or if this will ever happen. I reckon they have greater concerns atm…
Regardless, I think it's important for people to understand that Cyberpunk 2077 is not going to have the same level of modder freedom that we see in Bethesda games. At least until CDPR releases official tools to the community.

I would also like to point out that I'm currently in the Military, so I have not had the time to do a deep dive into Cyberpunk 2077s game files. It's likely my assessment may be slightly off. Feel free to correct me if that is the case.
