  1. I tested that with my radeon VII (oc to 2188mhz), I have 60ish fps (maybe variating from 40 to 60) (in fact as smooth as what I saw on the web) … everything maxed out at 4K … i've got dynamic fidelityFX ON at 50% to 100% … result is pretty blurry nothing to do with 4k lol.. like most of the videos i saw on yt … 1440p is pretty ok playbale smoothly … in fact you can gain some fps by lowering shadows a bit … but the rest is ok … every option that is "adaptive" or "dynamic" dlss or fidelityFx if you need it to play , is just like lowering res at the end… but i tested and max out everything without any adaptive filtering and even like this the game never appears really sharp .. not seen any option to deactivate any AA as well … I don't really like this style of picture , but maybe they tried to make a "cartoon" style to the game I don't know , but they clearly not tried to be realistic
so it's playable if you don't mind about playing 1080p like quality(even if in 4k) on a 4k monitor (hum) , but about the game , after 2hours I was so bored… lol , that just another watch dog like with some rpg in it … not sure i would pay more than 15 euro for it … maybe it gets better after some hours … don't know for now , not eager to play it again for now … after finishing "death stranding" it's like going to two level down in term of depth of story and gameplay .. even if I like science fiction a lot , i prefered ac odyssey by far for now …

  2. I played for 3 hours last night after work. Played at 4K And 1440p. There’s so much of this game that you’re just talking and seriously I don’t need 60FPS to sit down on a chair and have a conversation. Toggling settings in this game is simple. So I almost advices keeping it high and staying above 40 FPS during the majority of the game and then swapping to a setting that handles 60+ for gaming but honestly this isn’t a call of duty or competitive game that needs the maximum FPS. Red Dead Redemption 2 on consoles plays at 30 FPS, I never heard much complaining there as an example of everything being just fine and dandy. I understand higher is better. I like higher FPS, but this one is a quality looking game over FPS.

  3. I really like this nuanced content. I found that I'm close to 60 FPS on the medium preset with a RX 580 and R5 2600. Per my Adrenaline software, I've averaged about 65 FPS but I know I spend a lot of time managing inventory so it's an inflated number. I did use CAS of 80 min res with a 60 FPS target.

  4. Yep much better in this format. Graphs aren't bad, it would have been nice to have a visual reference, but all in all it was straight forward, no bias fluff, and left the choice to us the consumers. No selling or marketing…loved it!!! 👍👍👍🤓🤓🤓👏👏👏

  5. Thank you for doing this video.
To help confirm on getting 60fps for CP, I use a 1660 Super going to 2 monitors 32" 1080p 60Hz – 24"1080p 60Hz while streaming using OBS Studio at 1080p 60fps, game runs on the 32".
The game hits around 45-60+fps depending where I'm at, of course. Vsync is also on along with max fps set to 60 and everything is set to the lowest that I can put it at.
The game still looks n performs great even using the lowest settings.
CPU is the 9700K at 5GHz all cores with 1 year worth of use.
Zero complaints because the pc lets me play n stream this game with ease as well as it's fun to play.
A 3070 or a 3060Ti would be better to let the settings be turned up, of course.

  6. I found out with my overclocked 2080ti ZOTAC AMP EXTREME (2080-2100 MHz) I can get 60 FPS with VSync with RTX completely on and medium shadows, high settings and ultra settings, 4x anisotropic filtering, DLSS Ultra Performance. CPU Is a Threadripper 3960X stock but on custom loop water.

  7. I am playing at 1440p with a 5700 XT, i can confirm it doesn't hit constant 60 FPS, however it does on less demanding places, while being on 50's most of the time and dropping to 40's on demanding scenes. I am playing on a mix between low-med trying to keep image quality on what matters. While is not a constant 60 i find it very good to play, also there is no point on using FideliyFX CAS because it has a big impact on image quality, it doesn't worth it.

  8. I'm able to get 62fps average (and it's really pretty stable) at 1080p High with my overclocked GTX 1080 (on an overclocked 7700K) so it is possible to get that 60fps on 1080p High with the GTX 1080. 1440p High drops all the way down to 37fps average though, so yeah the gap between 1080p and 1440p on this game is huge.
