  1. Of course CDPR is working on their next game. The Dev team is like 3 times the size of what they had for TW3. Managing that many people all working on squashing bugs for a single game would be a nightmare. Just ask 343 about the MCC. TW3 turned CDPR into a AAA studio, publisher/game store. They'll find their footing, they did with TW3, even though it took 1.5 years for that game to get fixed. I wouldn't be surprised if CDPR spins out some smaller dev studios or purchases a few smaller studios in the next 3-5 years. Just for game porting at first (please god), then eventually for separate projects. I would love to see what CDPR does as a new corporate daddy overlord for the 21st century.

  2. I honestly think they’re gonna do what Rockstar did with GTA V. Release this unfinished version of the game, and then when it’s optimized for the newer consoles, it’ll get an overhaul in graphics, additional content—future and possibly deleted. I could be wrong, perhaps it’s a sense of false hope that I have for the game/company.

I just want this game to be good and it can/will be good, and I’m not alone with this feeling.

  3. personally wasn't a big fan of TW3 given, fantasy RPGs aren't my thing but, CP2077 was something i genuinely was looking forward to since the first teaser. it totally looked like THE first person immersive sim that i needed in my life after being a big time fan of games like system shock, deus ex, prey and dishonored. shame CP2077 was almost everything but immersive. looking forward to Deathloop now, hope it turns out how it's advertised.

  4. So in other words, the new, free DLC's that are coming won't be anything useful or particularly desirable either… Where are the significant story expansions that could help improve all the sad endings? Has CDPR lost too many of their old, key development staff to accomplish them now, especially when wasting their resources on console-only updates, that do nothing for the game's story line?

Don't blame Keanu for anything, his great performance was one of the highlights of the game's story!

  5. I love Keanu and I love him as Johnny. I just wish his presence was toned down. The game was supposed to be about V. Not Johnny. Yes I know he’s in your head and trying to take over, but I’d be nice if they used Johnny in a different way so V could get the lime light.

  6. I think working 8 years on a game is too long , devs are bored by the time it got released, therefore these well thought trough dlc like 2 jackets…..in such a massive game? a barber would have been better dlc or a plastic surgeon or something alike

  7. Just my opinion, Johnny Silverhand adds a lot of flavor to the story of CP2077, and not just flavor, Johnny Silverhand even gave the game a "soul" to it. The original Deus ex? That's an example of a game with a "soul". And at the recent decade, no game had it.

  8. The new game looks pretty sick but I remain cautiously optimistic because it seems to be a smaller studio. This type of project just demands a lot of developers and time.

  9. Yeah Keanu did a great job, but I think this shows going forward that you don't need someone of his calibre to play video game characters, as we can see it has detrimental to the overall game. The game in the early stages felt like it had been rushed at the point of the heist mission. I swear when I played it through the second time I noticed where they rushed the story and changed it

  11. For the witcher 4, they have a great headstart, They could use the witcher 3 template, and just "rebuild" the world. Seing that they are doing TW3 next gen, i would think that the are now laying down the plattform for TW4. So they could have a game ready and launched in a much better state with TW4, compared to cyberpunk. So i am not at all worried about the future of the witcher games. Cyberpunk though is a whole other beast. It can go down the "no mans sky" route, or end up like Anthem. To be revisited years later in a new game instead.

  12. They really need to just hunker down, get more talented devs and actually treat them respectfully so they don't leave and deliver those promises they made which would also make the game feel bigger and better. This is why despite all the memes Rockstar still make good games, regardless of how long it takes.
