Yet across the gulf of the net, behind the Blackwall, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded the human world with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us
Oddly, Delamain did have a working combat mode in the Heist in an earlier patch.
CDPR really should update the Delamain you get to have weapons.
Has anyone noticed most AI in this game mention or at least hit they know V is dying?
Whoaa I did not know Brendan was played by Connor
I thought they shut Brendan down because he was too successful, and considered unfair to the other distributors or something along those lines. I swear I remember someone saying that at the end of the quest
I am surprised, that in your video on the best ending, you argue it is killing So Mi in the betraySo Mi option, (which i disagree with, as the best ending IMHO is sending her to have the black wall AI removed w/Blue Eyes) you feel, like us all that there is no facts we know to be true about the future and who to trust. I agree that red eyes equals danger, so while Blue eyes is a danger (noted in the Paralez missions) he may have ultimate good intentions for humanity and So Mi wants desperately to be free of the AI, which she has determined thru her research to be to use the Neural Matrix to do. So, to me the best choice is to honor her choice to be free, just as V wants to be free (but ultimately cant and the only freedom he can have is when his body dies unless he becomes a digital engram (no soul) done by ALT. I look at having the Relic just gives V a short time to extend his experiences living and is a bonus round that would have ended with Dex's bullet without it. But if Johnny takes over then eventually V's body dies and V's soul moves on upon his body dieing but he never lives forever as digits. V living on without his cyberware would be worse IMHO as he wouldn't last 2 years before some ganger kills him (shown in his fight and almost dying before talking to Misty) + he has no friends or home anymore.
No doubt the next game is going to focus on rogue AIs. There were already so many hints to it even before Phantom Liberty. After seeing what Song can do when she taps into the black wall, I'm here for it.
Hey Tez completely off topic but which ending do you think is the best in PL?
In the Del quest, I pick destroy core. The kids will send text to V where they go on vacations and stuff. It looked funny seeing a pic of a car with palm trees in the bkg sent to you by… the car.
I'm almost certain the future sequel is going to be the 5th corporate war + the rogue AI invasion finally popping off.
Should V be on this list? Some endings have V become an engram after getting soul killed. Whether V goes with Alt or goes back into the body, V becomes an engram.
I hope we delve deeper into the AI’s trying to break free of the blackwall in the next game.
Nahhh I'm not convinced that Mr. Blue Eyes is any kind of altruist. He has his own goals but definitely seems opposed to the Corporations. As far as helping V? War makes strange bedfellows.
Delamain is an interesting case of a rogue AI from beyond the black wall integrating into night city and being more beneficial than a nuisance to the society.
If you read through the terminals in Delamain HQ when you're trying to get to the core it explains that Delamain AI was purchased from the VDB's that got him from beyond the Blackwall. The company then asked VDB for help when he started getting a bit out of control but VDB ghosts them. This in turn lead to Delamain doing a hostile takeover of the company.
if you go to the HQ after meeting alt at the black wall you can ask him a question when he says something along the lines of Delamain: "I consider myself something of a tourist to night city"
V: "You mean you're from beyond the black wall?"
Delamain: "Beyond indeed."
Honorable mention: the Doll chip, sure it's just an algorithm, sure it's only for 'innocent fun' sexy time.
Also, it has control of human bodies with those pink lovey glowy uwu eyes (similar to those Blue Eyed suit proxies),
they innocently scan your inner most thoughts/desires (that data is 100% sold) and say/do what it thinks is 'right'
…such as calling V by their given name assuming that would build intimacy but really makes V very uncomfortable, hence the safe word to deactivate.
Danger? IDK maybe people sell/lie/steal/kill to enable and cultivate their sex addiction lol
It could be very young limited A.I. like Skippy/Delamain progeny, could be simply a non-A.I. like "SAAI" or Brendan (I believe he's a real boy, also Pluto is a planet).
Another great banger video! I love the clever chapter titles 😜
plot twist and this has no factual ground…. what if only good intentions that the blue eye people are the black wall that become self aware drones to aid Against the A.I invasion by having a strong defense
If I could be any character in the Cyberpunk universe, I would love to be Mr. Blue Eyes. I would love to have his abilities, but I would use them for much better intentions. I would even go as far as mind jacking the world’s big wheels (both corpo & government), & even go to really big steps in making the biggest offenders get their big karmic punch. I would also surely establish a fact based status quo that debunks all biased narratives without a shadow of doubt, & lead the world up the direction of Hagel’s Bagel from beyond the blackest shadows.
The AI is not Alt though. It states this clearly to V and Johnny.
Wow I had no idea I can destroy the core of Delamain, I thought only those two choices in a dialogue are possible! Thanks! 😀
Wow, i did not know Brendan is Connor.
I had a realization the other morning about the engram being an AI and it hit me in the Sun/Star endings when V is made into an engram then placed back in her body it technically made V an AI in her own body. Another reason I think the Arasaka ending may end up being the cannon ending (plus leaves the possibility of Johnny still being around), unless they use that concept to allow V abilities to interact with AIs in special ways. Just a thought!
