Cyberpunk 2077 is a action roleplaying videogame developed and published by CD Projekt RED.
It was inspired by the dystopian science fiction world of Cyberpunk 2013, Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk RED, tabletop roleplaying games written by Mike Pondsmith and first published by R. Talsorian Games in 1988.
The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a mercenary known as V. It features Keanu Reaves in the role of the rockerboy Johnny Silverhand. Michael-Leon Wooley as Dexter DeShawn and Michael Gregory as Viktor Vektor.
