Cyberpunk 2077 4K Strix 4090 AMD 7950X3D (New Ryzen X3D Gaming setup)

In this video, I test out Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty at 4K with my newly just built AMD Ryzen 7 7950X3D build setup with overclocked Asus Strix RTX 4090 graphics card. The CPU setting all are stock factory settings at the moment, the only option I adjusted was turning on AMD Expo for my DDR5 6400 memory.

Overall, I can immediately see a significant drop in overall CPU wattage in games, its a night and day difference in heat output and wattage. I still need to learn all the AMD bios settings, but now I’m going to enjoy these factory defaults at the moment. Stay tuned for more videos in the future, I’m going to try and get a little rest now as I been up all night setting up the new system (Installing components, Windows install, updates, game downloads, etc)

Also, let me know if you guys can hear and understand me better in this video. Enjoy!

My full system specs are posted below:
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D (Default settings)

  2. Just remember its been 1 day my dude. Give it time dont over sell it. Do a real review and real testing period of weeks.

Either way im very happy its working so well for you!

Also doing a full fresh instal of everything will always give a nice performwnce boost for a bit.

  3. Google on how to disable the second CCD(core-complex die). It will essentially turn it into an 8 core 7800X3D when you're only gaming, and then re-enable it when you need all the cores for productivity. That's what my buddy does on his setup. 🙂

  4. So i have a 13900K at the moment, never had a crash in the year and a half of owning it, no whea errors in logs etc, but recently i have been getting large to small frametime stutters in every game periodically , i have swapped out every component except my mobo and cpu, do you think its likely the cpu is the culprit of this? only recently saw the intel issues with degradation or i’d have swapped my cpu before everything else😅

  5. Your setup now runs better FPD than 14900K. Im planing to switch to AMD soon. Maybe to 7950X3D also. Nice video bro! Bring more Gameplays from diferent games, like forza Motorsport, Calisto protocol, forbiden west etc etc

  6. It would be good if ya can make a comparison video between i9 14th and 7950x3D for cyberpunk. I have been having same instability and stuttering issues with my i9 14th, and have replaced it 6 times now. Now I am planning to switch over to 9950x or 7950x3D whatever turns out to be faster after benchmarks.

  7. Required setting for 7950x3d:

    1) Open game
    2) Open gamebar win+g
3)go to setting and select this is a game and restart the game and window will automatically assign cache cores to the game everytime you open the game
