  1. I feel like in the time we will know about Molasses Flood project, it will be more of an indie project and community (wrongly) will get mad. Hope CDPR knows how to communicate it.

  2. I really love that picture that shows us what exactly CDPR are working on. It's both fancy looking and, most importantly, it's very VERY VERY informative. Instead of saying, "hey, we're working on this, this and that", they're actually showing us what they're working on, at the moment, and how much of CDPR are working on, for example Cyberpunk Expansion.

  3. Wondering if they'll update the graph again to reflect the people they have to dedicate to the next-gen edition of The Witcher 3 now, or if it's just a very small team and they're already under "Other projects"

  4. I think the new witcher saga is not going to come out anytime soon maybe it'll take 8-10 years to release 😅. For at the time the expansion can live up to our hope and for this game because the expansion maybe the rise/fall of CP saga. This my personal wish i want CP universe expands and i.e. a new story like mass effect / halo humans first contact and war btw aliens things like that

  5. Let me explain with my not very good english, why Cyberpunk 2077 is not exactly financial success. First this game cost 300 million, half of it for Developing and other half is for marketing, CDPR aimed 30 million sell in first year of the game and Pre orders are nearly 13 million, When the game released, sells of this game drops harshly, They only did sell like 4-5 million in whole 1,5 year, Also not forget that it was %50 OFF price many times and even you can find this game for a 10$ even less.. In general most games are sell more after the release but this happened opposite in Cyberpunk, I'am one of those guys who pre ordered this game and following all the events that happened about this game, People immidiately lose interest about this game after the release and people are who had interest just purchased when price gets very lower. So as you see this is not exacly a "success".. Sure they made their money but amounth of money making potential of this game ruined by CDPR's bad release.. Don't get me wrong i love this game, I think it's absolutely worth 60$ price, (tho i live in Turkey it's cheeper here) But "what could have been?" question always going to stick with this game.. I just hope best for the future and i hope we'll get amazing Expansion to make this game really successful.

  6. In an old investors call CDPR said that, while they reserve the right to announce projects early, marketing will be done much closer to release. They keep changing how they do things after taking a hit from launching Cyberpunk too early. They wanna impress us. I can only see further redemption in the future.

  8. Just imagine if with their current success of this action adventure game, imagine the success that would have been achieved if the potential had been realized for the intended cyberpunk RPG and following with the fundamentals and foundation of their previous success of Witcher three. Imagine if they didn’t scrap that game because of miss management, red engine issues, Bad leadership decisions and investor call deadlines. Imagine the immersive experience we would have gotten and the success CDPR would have seen. It is impossible for me to look at this action adventure project and not see the intended potential that was desired and should have been and just shake my head. It is a stigma of disappointment in excepting what is but constantly reminded of what could’ve been. The foundation and the formula was already there as evident with the company‘s previous projects. The initial development was following this. However it is what it is.

Accountability is needed and needs to be reinforced so that mistakes aren’t repeated, that’s how you learn… That’s how lessons are taught. In time you learned to accept What is, and this cyberpunk action adventure game I think is fine for what it is and what that design is meant for. Of course this changed to a action adventure genre design was late in the game and is evident as the structure of it is miss placed in many areas. There are many other action adventure games out there that accomplish the role of this design much better but the devs did a great job with doing the best they could to facilitate this change with as little time they had to do it in. But the stigma that will forever be on this project will derive from the pattern that was set by CDPR with their previous projects successes, especially Witcher three. With the clear receipts and knowledge of that continued direction and design with this project that is just as evident within the world itself. The potential of white should have been and could have been will be a constant stigma and reminder forever with this action adventure version. It is inescapable as the potential is presenting itself everywhere in the project. That is a unfortunate reality. A fine game but nowhere near the potential of the immersive experience that was intended.

It’s good to see the positive steps for the project as the game becomes a complete game towards the end of this year. It’s good to see the investment being put in the expansion. You can celebrate positive things while still acknowledging reality.

Cautiously hopeful for the expansion. If they are returning to their routes of a immersive RPG design, then there will be a lot to be excited for with that. Time will tell .

  9. I liked Cyberpunk 2077, so happy it sold well. But i hope the rocky launch humbled them.
They can't release Witcher 4 without severe quality testing first. Also hoping Cyberpunk dlc comes out this year.

  10. I loved Cyberpunk. I WANT to see this game do GOOD. I just hope they continue work on this and don't give up on it. It would be a shame if they gave up on it after only 1 expansion.

  11. I hope they truly get there house in order. The norm that the fans accept from them is not normal. I'm really hoping and suspecting that unreal engine 5 brings a positive change along with the changes on the business side because to me their ideas are unique but execution is janky.
