  1. Dunnot if you've already done it but a lot of quests have different dialog depending on Vs stats. Usually Int/Tech.

Example is in Ghost Town if V has lower stats he'll be more or less dense about Panams plan and the execution, where higher tech he'll know exactly what she means.

A few a of these I'm noticing the more I replay the game, might be easy content

  2. not about the heist but on the topic of waiting through timed dialogue options, the coin operated boy sidequest has a pretty cool voice line when you wait out the dialogue option at the very end.

  3. Hey Big Dan, great video! I was just playing CP2077 for a second time, and I tried to note different things that may have gone by me the first time around.
These facts are nice but I was hoping to see something about what we see during the heist when we control the flathead bot, and some things we overheard from the guests of Kompeki Plaza. I think there are things that add to the worldbuilding there that might be something more. Is there any possibility you'd make such a video? Thanks!

  5. It kinda makes sense to me that Jackie could be saved by Trauma Team because Kang Tao sponsored by Hellman could have wanted Jackie to live, say after they break free of Arasaka Towers guards because they had the power to hack Jackie. It also makes sense that V could then go to see Evelyn Parker and sell the chip for 50%. The story has possible changes or mods that could favor these ideas.

  6. Missed a few minor ones. I'm sure many of us know there's a Hideo Kojima cameo in the plaza while V & Jackie are on the way up to their room after checking in, but there's another little connective tissue I ran across on one of my playthroughs. I forget what fixer it's from, but much later on there's a gig where you have to steal some information from this Russian diplomat (I think his name is Akalov or something like that) who has a female body guard/assassin with mantis blades and whatnot. These two characters can be seen walking & talking in the hallways while you & Jackie are heading up to your room.

  7. Finally, someone made a video of Adam smasher killing you for waiting too long which leads to why I'm grateful for the video. NGL my BIGGESST pet peeve is all the head canons of "Smasher knows you're there but is too cool/awesome to be bothered with it!" or some other crackpot conspiracy. When in reality the reason why he glows with the threat detection mod is because of the script (pun intended I guess?). It's so you don't cheese somehow and belittle or cause a story plot hole, likely there is some parameter that doesn't validate his "kill on sight" animation which is when the player avatar is behind the screen which is as the developers intended.

Like how the developers for the game Alien described the alien with two Ai's, one that knows where you're at always and the other that doesn't but receives hints from the first to lock in on your location. His detection status is probably customized for that event so that he can kill V to reset the encounter to do it properly so it doesn't go whacky (it is also why Adam smasher can kill you through walls in that scene if the elevator glitches out).

The game has scripted kill zones that if certain boundary violations are made the player dies, like the border where even if you kill EVERYTHING, a magic turret shoots you and you die even with second heart/ blood pump spam/instant recovery at %15 health because simply put: you are not allowed.

  8. 2 things that are also interesting.

1: Hideo Kojima can be seen in the bar. Of course that NPC has a different name but he is a carbon copy of the real guy.

    2. If you completed the gig in Watson where you have to klep a datashard from a USSR fixer without killing him and his wife BEFORE the heist they will both appear in the hallway after you went up the elevator from the attrium.

  9. Don't forget Hideyoshi Oshima, the NPC to the right of the bar in Konpeki Plaza who is modeled after and voiced by Hideo Kojima, legendary video game producer. In the context of Cyberpunk, Oshima is a brain dance producer and talks about his BDs very similarly to how Kojima has referred to his video games. Additionally, a "Bridge Baby Pod" from Death Stranding can be found during The Hunt in the NCPD labs, though that is unrelated to the heist related missions and dialogue.
