Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X Update 1.61 FSR 2.1 gameplay.
Update 1.61 adds support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 (FSR 2.1) on Xbox Series X in Cyberpunk 2077.
The FPS/framerate counter performance test should be accurate.

After testing: performance is the same, it's just that FSR is used for faking native 4K so the image is sharper, I think especially in RT mode.
There's absolutely no difference in my opinion
CPU is too weak, rdna 2 is now old to hold 60fps in good looking games
i thought the game can run RT in 60fps with FSR…
Waiting for “balanced mode” like in GTA V…
So instead of using FSR to get more consistant FPS they chose to use it for fake 4K. Great so im still not going to play this game as the stuttering is horrible
With what's under the hood in a series x there's no reason why we can't have rt, 4k, and 60+fps at the same time. Anyone like to explain why? Is it industry laziness?
The fsr makes this look terrible on series x
It looked way better in performance mode before this hot fix and it ran very smooth also
How to enable this function (FSR 2.1)? It's automatic with this patch? I'm on 1.61, have a Series X and notice no difference or option to enable it.
Fsr 2.1 is supposed to improve frame rate by upscaling lower quality to 4k. The game has always used 4k dynamic scaling up to date and in my opinion the update looks great, I play ray tracing mode rather than performance which is obviously less fps, the game is looking better than before… The world this game is set is just amazing and CDPR knows how to tell stories
