  1. It's running about the same as it was for me in 1.5 one thing I have noticed though is the Body Physics are all over the place, if I punch people they sometimes go flying in the wrong direction, I've found bodies stretched out and squished in strange angles, I saw it maybe once or twice in 1.5, I'm seeing it nearly every encounter now in 1.6

  2. Literally just redownloaded today to play for the first time since last year, and is it just me or does DLSS seem broken now for anyone else? It does absolutely nothing regardless of preset on my RTX 3070. And FSR actually HURTS performance…

  3. now i dont play and havent played cyberpunk just because the experience with my hardware is barely playable and i think i wouldnt rlly enjoy the game with that level of performance. BUT it seems weird how the 6400 got more fps while the 1070 less. i dont think its a company thing. cause it doesent make sense to improve performance for amd cards and worsen it for nvidia cards since the larger part of the mearket uses nvidia. i feel like its more of a architechture thing. you compared a fairly new gpu to the 1070ti which is much older. i think if you test a 20 series or 30 series nvidia card as well the results will be different

  4. For me this update is the smoothest to date. Frametime is perfect now when capped at 60fps, running at 1080p High with all RTX options on. Ryzen 5 3600X, Aorus 2070 Super, 32 GB DDR4 3200mhz, Windows 11.

  5. but hey y'all, imaging if the games made for the consoles were actually optimised for RDNA2 on PCs ( which is in both PS5 and Xbox Series Consoles) maybe not exactly 100% the same but the underlying uArch is RDNA2 in both consoles…. a 6700XT would be the Ps5 with 40x RDNA2 CUs (or Compute Units) im sick of games being deliberately optimized from Consoles RDNA2 to being all through out on the PC versions cuz of Nvidia Paying thes devs to do so. its NOT FAIR FOR AMD! Plain and Simple@!@ AND IM FUKKING SICK OF NVIDIAS BULL$H!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I am glad I have it on PS5, even though recently I finally upgraded my graphics card from a GTX 980 ti to a RTX 3060 but I dont trust this game optimization on PC. I do love the game since I did finish it on PS5 before the next gen upgrade. It did made the shadows look worse in 1.6 on PS5, a lot of blinking shadows plus less shadows on the NPC during afternoon time. Little details on ray tracing mode but I beat the game already.

  7. The worst optimized game, next to gta 4, but at least gta 4 was a port… rtx 3080ti here and 5600x with 32gb of 3200mhz and the game sucks at 3480×1600 resolution…it's installed on 980 evo, but the frame times are all over the place, with dips in the 40's from 100fps, rtx off, all settings on high, not ultra and dlss on balanced…

  8. I have over 400 hours in this game and I instantly noticed the TAA motion banding was much less aggressive and gritty and the hard-hitting zones like the market went from low drops below 60 the day the game came out to now over 120 fps on a 2070 super and 10700k OC 5.0ghz on the latest patch. The game has improved drastically on PC.

  9. Running an i9 9900k, 32GB RAM 3200MHz and a 3080Ti. I have not noticed any performance drop, but also not really an increase either. I generally favor higher framerates so I don't run the game at its highest of settings (running it at high for most, but no raytracing for instance as I feel it doesn't add enough since the game already is drop dead gorgeous).

  10. My framerate went down by 1 fps….
1.6 was a pain in my Dick to install, GOG Galaxy must have been hammered or something, the d/l stalled and failed 4 times 2 days ago…. But this morning I had no issue tooke 3 hrs to download and install.
    specs for my Rig….
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 on water at 4 ghz

    32gig Ram Crucial 3200 mhz DDR4

Nvidia 3080ti Air Cooled (EVGA XC3 model)

7 Platter Drives 4 SSD for a total of 12 TB

    MSI B550 m Pro Motherboard

    Free Sync 27in Acer H A270 75hz LED 2560×1440

So prior to patch it ran avg of 56 fps on the Raytracing Ultra preset, at 1440p. Right now in getting 55fps avg.
If I knock it back to 1080p, and use DLSS at the Quality preset…. its 68 fps…. Not sure what it was prior.

  11. For this game here I’ll just get the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X version and call it a day.

This pc game was optimize for RTX 3080’s cards.

Even my RTX 2070 isn’t a locked 60fps at 1080p on high settings.

  12. i7 8700k, DDR4 32Gb 3200MHz, RTX 2060 6Gb, playing on a mixture of medium and high, DLSS on Quality, there is some improvement to the framerate but I haven't kept track of anything

  13. Still halfway through my first playthrough. They have not done enough to fix the game. I'm not a whiney troll like most people with this game, I think it's a broken mess but it is also an extremely excellent game and I'll play it to completion when it's ready

  14. I’m on Series S and love the performance mode. Makes the game enjoyable to play. That’s is when I actually get to play. The saving icon gets stuck on the screen and proceeds to crash as soon as it stops after like 3 minutes.

  15. Playing on PS5 in performance mode, resolution set to 1080p in system settings. Started a new playthrough for 1.6.

As of the 1.6 update it regularly dips below 60, I want to say into the 40s just from a naked eye observation. Before this update it wasn't anywhere near as bad. There were dips but nowhere near as many and it never seemed to go as low as it does now. Also I want to say there are more stutters than before the update.

I have also encountered a lot more bugs and crashes than previously on my other playthrough. Bugs include a save loop where it cannot finish saving, rendering your progress made after the last save useles. Controls also seem buggier with some inputs not being registered and such. Crashes generally occurred after an explosion on screen or some form of vehicle crash.

Quite disappointed with the performance after this update 1.6 but at least they added the absolute BEEFY sniper Hypercritical. 😀

  16. patch 1.6 is an excuse to promote the series and nothing more adds to the game only appearances and only embellishments . in my opinion patch 1.6 after include alternative crowd behavior and improved police, subway system and other fixes

  17. for some reason i have seen more bugs when i played just through the start of the game until the heist than i have seen in 3 playthroughs that i did when it came out lol

  18. To me RT performance is worse (5900x with 2080s), even GPU utilization now is a little lower with 95% or less which on 1.52 did not happen. It seems related to CPU since RT seems heavier on CPU now, since the gpu have a lower overall utilization. I am using a custom settings with 516.79 driver (maybe updating the driver will improve)

  19. well for me I am facing high Vram usage in 1440p after a couple of minutes of playthrough….it reaches near to 8Gb limit of my rtx 3060ti and then my fps plummets to mid 30's from 55 and stays at 30's even if I come out of crowded areas. its dosent change until i restart the game……from the reddit i saw couple of people having this issue and they call it Vram leak and still there is no solution for it except for restart the game 🙁 . This only happens only if i turn on Ray tracing.
    My specs- Ryzen 7 5800x , 3060ti, crucial ballistix 2×8 3000mhz ram

  20. 5800X3D, 3080 TI, 32GB 3600MHZ CL16 ram, 3440×1440 resolution, custom settings + psycho RT on and dlss quality. My overall performance has maintained a typical 70fps from patch 1.5 to 1.6, verified my settings were unchanged between patches as well.

  21. wow, good to know I'm not crazy. I came back for 1.6 and started playing with the exact same settings I used previously on the exact same hardware (rtx 3070), and I was getting some pretty nasty drops. I'm super picky about stable framerates so I usually tweak my setting slightly lower than needed just to avoid any drops when things get super busy on screen. But on 1.6 I get drops just walking around town. edit it might be a driver issue apparently. I'm on 516.94 atm.
