He only commented on stuff they get sued for. Reviews and console problems. They now stated publicly there werent such issues in their quality assurance… this video is just for the lawsuits and pr blabla. And the title „commitment to quality“ is for that polish consumer protection service who are also after them…
I don’t see how they are proud of the current product even on PC. No character customization, no apartment customization, no vehicle customization, clothing sucks, NPC’s are moronic, you can’t go into most buildings, driving is frustrating, and finally my biggest complaint. Adding Kenu was a mistake. They diverted from the original plan, cut tons out of the prologue, and ultimately released a shit game
This game is broken, beyond repair. It will never meet the expectations or promises.

Cyberpunk was anounced in 2012, at that time they say "We belive this game will be next gen only, xbox 360 and ps3 may not have the power to run"…..
I don't know why you're still acting like this game is somehow in the realm of being "the best game ever". They would have to fundamentally rebuild the game to make it into anything resembling that. As it stands, it's a Ubisoft style game that's riddled with an insane amount of bugs. There's not a fully realized system in the entire game.

I believe him saying they didnt know the depth of the issues because they are facing legal action from stockholders. His whole statement would probably of been vetted by lawyers who are trting to fight litigation on "no we didn't lie legally". He wasn't able to fully say what we all wanted due to this but went as far as he can.
Still think with how long this games development cycle was that I dont think any amount of excuses can remedy the issues.
you dont push back DLC unless your finish the game cohh. the only reason the free DLC is coming out this year is it was already made.
Still has a ton of potential. Yes, it has issues, but people tend to overlook the massive strengths of the game. The city is unparalleled, the engine seems great and CDPR can continue to build upon the game for many years. The conversation about the game is skewed. People talk of it as a flop because of issues on the console. It's a very good PC game with a potential to be great in some time. Yes, mistakes were made, but game is good.
I do think,there were two versions of the game made.First for CDPR and a few chosen
ones (well Keanu did like it)….and this broken,unfinished game for players to buy and play.

what are you talking about cohh? they literally made the most immersive world in gaming yes not with the best pedestrian AI. but it is very immersive. and the car AI is not as much an issue as people let on. i can actually stop at red lights and not have a car beep at me and tray and run me off the road and need a mod to fix it. people have been complaining about the GTA car AI for decades. CDPR dumbing the car AI down to the point you can actually just drive through the city is better then what GTA has with them not allowing you to stop at red lights. someone showcasing them never driving around anything is not a bug. its a fixing of an over active AI in past open world driving games like GTA were they would flip out and drive round you at red lights and drive you off the road. a fix that modders did over and over again in GTA games.
another thing is people think GTA and RDR2 have really good AI but they dont. they actually have pre coded NPC that before you do anything hostile around them/ to them are in their pre coded state doing their pre coded pathing. in RDR2 there are videos showing it off of people living their lives in cities and towns. waking up and doing everything in the day then going to bed. its all pre coded. but after anything hostile happens the AI kicks in and its actually really dumb and basic most run away or hide and the hostile ones are easy to kill. RDR2 they added really hard guys that come again at high wanted but its simple AI and easy cheese but then they aim bot. they are not smart just cheap kills.
i love rockstar games. but no their AI is not the best. and i do not think the AI in CP2077 is the worst in any game. the car AI is not that bad. not flipping out and driving around things is a + in my book better for single player RPGs and if you did leave are car in the road by time you leave the are and come back from not being there so long the car would most likely be gone unless it was not out of despwan distance. the cops in the game need to be fixed 100% and the pedestrians can use a but of an upgrade but as of right now the pedestrians just act like GTA AI when your hostile but all the time. their walking paths are random like a real AI would be and it feels real sometimes and others not so much.
My game glitched in the tutorial, which is less than an hour into the game so when they said they didn't see the game breaking issues is complete B.S. I had to start my game over less than an hour in….

They can't patch in an RPG with replay value.
So, is it worth it to hang on to it? I don't know what their plans for the DLC are, but I won't buy additional Phone Calls that get me to more of whatever this was… Talking, for the most part, I guess.
If they come up with DLC that brings the Gangs to life, I am on Board, but it is unlikely that will happen. Maybe they add in the Quests that should have been played with Jacky, but for that, I won't pay.

He straight up said they knew that the release candidate for old consoles wasn't performing and they thought they could patch it prior to actual release.

I know we all loved CDPR and we would love for there to be redemption for them, but that video is full of bullshit, and I just don't buy it. The biggest points is that he lies about one part of the problem (core game pc being good, they're not), and minimizes the other problem (old console version), and feigns ignorance about such an obvious, glaring issue.
I refuse to play this game until the police get AI. It's a joke of a game right now that reminds me of N64 programming. yes the graphics are better, but the AI is worse than three gens ago. After approx 20 hours I gave up trying to enjoy the game. It is not done even on PC. Not even close. It's a demo at this point. It will reach it's potential and be amazing, but it's gonna be about a year.
I agree Cohh. Better to have focused on PC and announced that, then worked on other releases later. They hemmed themselves in by announcing it all.
