What’s Up With: Cyberpunk 2077 ?

Its been 7 months ago that Cyberpunk 2077 was released for all systems. While the base console versions were pretty horrible, the PC version was doing oke. But the question remains, what actually did change now to the PC version, and are the major issues like AI, the police system, or the non zooming minimap while driving fixed? Find it out in this video.

  2. Yeah nothing changed for PC, I gave up playing it. I went back to playing Red Dead Redemption 2 now that it has DLSS – I can play on max settings, beautiful game, so immersive, way better than Cyberpunk. Also playing Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition with full RayTracing and DLSS 2.0. And about to check out the new performance patch for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

  3. I agree with you there on how they should have released the game.

However, you could say it was a should have, could have couldn't situation likely reason to the last-gen base console release was probably down to release commitments with Microsoft and Sony they probably made a deal that saw CDPR get a smaller cut to the total price per unit that consumers would pay for console versions instead of the standard rate of 30% ( which sucks )

  4. I got mine a few months ago (PC) and didn't get the chance to finish (summertime) . I'm glad I got it on sale. Fun but I've notice they haven't fixed the NPC's if you look at 11:07 the two red heads and when you look away one of them change. 3070 and it looks and runs great even with the hicups.

  5. I'll say the same thing I said since day one. Even if this game released technically perfect it would be mediocre in it's best moments. As for the open world, it's not even up to GTA5 standards and that game is almost a decade old and 2 tech generations ago. The most spectacular fail since the days of Daikatana and Ultima 8. Hell, even Fallout 76 and No Man's Sky are good games now. It feels like CDPR have just abandoned this train wreck.

  6. I tried to play it again like a month ago. Same thing for me, felt like nothing changed. What an absolute shame tbh. It's hard to believe that this game, other than graphics, is just like, so old feeling. It doesn't feel right at all. My character was sliding around, they did the dumb thing of having the NPC speeds be different than the PC speed, so I always have to switch between walking and jogging to keep up or not get ahead. The cars are REALLY slidey but grippy at the same time. The gunplay is decent but stupid. The same damn model of gun can do 1 damage and 30000 damage. I know it's an RPG but there are better ways to have that work.

If the story is the best part, I don't see why this needed to be a video game at all. I'm honestly pretty sad about it. The game sits in my Steam library like a huge yellow sore.

ALSO, THE UX IS UTTER SHIT. Seriously it is utter shit. It's so damn unintuitive and it took so long to get used to. Unequipping my weapon is an entire quest on its own.

  7. I can't believe CDPR spent over 300 million making this game. It's less polished than many of Sony's first party titles, which cost a third of the budget. I guess CDPR spent most of the money on Keanu and marketing. There's a Cyberpunk smartphone, but meanwhile the game doesn't even have cop chases. Should've used the money to hire more devs.

  8. They Anthemed the hell out of CP2077.
I really miss the old school beta days. Just polish the damn game before sending it out into the wild. I don't who the idiots are but the people who get all bent out of shape and send threats or review bomb devs other games because a delay is announced. Then another. Then they say well next year now. The internet goes FULL STUPID bitching about a delay. WHO THE F^%& CARES!
Ok. I will say they can't pull a Duke Nukem without a TON of blowback. Devs.. I have plenty of other games to play. Stop giving out release dates and stay active with updates and what you are working on and it's all good.
CP2077 was supposed to be an up to date Fallout NV type experience. Tell the suits to just once. JUST THIS ONCE hold a game till it's ready and compare the launch, reviews and sales to pushing garbage out the door to fix it later.

  9. When the very first trailer came out I knew it would be garbage. I was intrigued as I consider Witcher 3 to be the best movie style game. Immediately I sensed nothing special or complex about the upcoming title. The setting seemed generic and boring. The characters were irredeemable. I was completely put off and disinterested in what they presented. I perceived an enormous drop in quality and depth just from a trailer. Then I checked comments and general sentiments. People were going insane for it. I could not understand. Then I remembered how sincerely and genuinely brainless the majority of humans are. The premier trailer I saw destroyed all interest I had in the title. CDPR was my favorite studio. I already had a permanent boycott on my previous favorite studio because of fallout 4 (never bought, never will). I built a PC to play the Witcher with mods and fully realized graphics. I went from being excited for the next title made by my new favorite studio to being completely disgusted at the low effort nonsense that people were eating up. I'll never see a good elder scrolls or fallout again and now I get to add I'll never see another Witcher or even Witcher style rpg to that list. Instead of passing on this game and waiting for their next title, I now have a boycott. My boycotts are permanent and unflinching. I've had some going for over 15 years and that's well over half my age. CDPR is a dead studio for me.
