  1. 11:10 All of that is BS. Cyberpunk happens after the fall of the USA. Night City is literally not part of the NUSA. It is run by corporations from all over the place so there's very little reason for it to conform to all US standards.

  2. Well, the weird thing about this game was that it was always left leaning with dei things like trans options and with marxist principles in the core philosophy of the game.

  3. Go woke, no money 😂 Go DEI, no money🎉 The Brain-Rot has finally reached CDPR and they caught the Virus 😮 It doesn’t take a much of a brain to see that their attempts to push Agenda Woke Garbage will be their demise 💝

  4. Woke extortionists demand a pay out. And if not paid off, the woke cancel culture inquisition slanders their victim in their publications and social media crusades. Everyone expects the woke inquisition.

  5. Now that CD Projekt Red has gone woke, they are a dead company to me. I have over 3000 hours in the Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077, but I will never buy another game from CD Projekt Red again, period.

  6. I think the company is in warsaw which is a large city where alot of liberal young people live. They often think better of themselves then the typical polish person and so its not surprising tht a compaby based in tht city would hire new young workers who would after timr change the company to woke liberal ideas

  7. Your take on this makes no sense dude, what does ‘woke’ even mean to you here? It’s a universe literally created by a black guy set in a future which is already as diverse as you can get where the breaking down of gender norms and body modification is hard baked into the lore and has been from the eighties when we first started playing cyberpunk! You do know it’s a table top rpg that’s been going for thirty plus years? It already was ‘woker’ than anything else out there and that’s okay because that’s literally what the franchise is about, it’s a dystopian alternative ‘woke’ timeline! Don’t just hate on things dude take time to understand the lore!

  8. CDPR has fallen years ago. Expect every new game from them to be a woke boring slop. Cyberpunk 2077 already had quite a few woke elements in it but they were minor enough so the majority didn't notice it or even if they did notice them they didn't care. But now after garbage like Concord many normies' minds have been opened to notice crap like this so when a new game drops with hardcore woke stuff it will flop like Concord.

  9. I almost pre-rdered the game.. I wanted to have faith they would "do me" good and not buying into the woke crap.. But I managed to convince myself to hold off. It came out and it was woke body type shit, and its awful launch. I feel like a dodged a bullet. and hearing about going woke, and turning the witcher woke, I will never support this company. Go woke go broke.

  10. People just throw woke as a buzz word these days. Cyberpunk from day onr contained a jungle of lefty ideas, heck johnny is an insuferable anarchist. It just mirrors, albeit taken to extremes, the current political environment that we are in. It's "woke" as a setting rather than the piece itself being woke. At the end of the day, it was V's and Johnny's story rather than some shit about being a trans or something.

  11. At 8:40 — my thoughts exactly. Red Engine is still unmatched when it comes to its graphics. It's the only engine that affords path tracing visuals in an open-world environment and can still manage good frames. None of the UE5 tech demos seem to be able to achieve that. You either have one or the other — as the engine would need serious refactors to optimise for the kind of visuals that the Red Engine has already achieved.

As to why would you get rid of an established engine perfect for visually striking open-world games? Because all of the engineers who maintained the support for it left.

CDPR has been on a DEI-hiring spree, and I can guarantee you that none of those new bloods are qualified to upkeep the Red Engine. However, with UE5 they don't have to worry about that because Epic does the upkeep for the Unreal Engine. So all they have to do is hire in people who can use Blueprints, and then leave all of the heavy-lifting when it comes to rendering, multithreaded support, and buffer caching to the Epic support teams to sort out whenever they run into major issues.

  12. I think the horse in the room is how these twitter activists being hired are bad professionals who couldn't do anything of value if they tried, not if there's going to be trans or whatnot characters in game.

  13. It's time to say goodbye.
    Horizons are never far
Would I have to find them alone?
Without true light of my own with you
I will go on ships overseas
    That I now know.

This fight is over. I'm going to check some stocks now, maybe install some older games i took for granted.

I miss the Devs of the ole days.
Those days are long past us now.

Me: but they stole everything i loved. Star wars, comics, tv, movies, and now games.

Their victimhood will always outweigh our opinions.

  14. How can you fail cyber punk by woke when it’s the perfect setting to be as ''inclusive'' as possible without breaking the lore ? You can put as much as trannies as you want. It just fits the extreme bodymodification theme of the story.

  15. The Cyberpunk rpg has pretty much always had these themes. I remember a book from the first edition had sex related mods in it. Fiction that it got inspiration from had transgender characters, not to mention transhuman themes.
