It’s the 3 year anniversary of the masterpiece that is Cyberpunk 2077 – and that of the 45th year of my blight upon this planet. This is more of me musing on how awesome this game is than a review – I’ll own that, you got me, but FWIW these are my thoughts on it 3 years after launch.

  1. Prior to Cyberpunk 2077, my favorite game was the original Deus Ex. And there are still some things I really like about that game. But now Cyberpunk is the one I've invested the most time playing and it really is quite amazing.

  2. I could not agree more choom, everything you say is so true. Big thank you for your hard work, and hawk eyes for secrets (best Kiroshii on the market from Victor Clinic for sure). It's so true, as a big fan of big and story-focused RPGs, action RPGs, etc etc etc Cyberpunk is my current nr1, after so many hours in the Mass Effect trilogy, Dargon Age trilogy, Witcher trilogy (yes including part one), and for some strange reason Euro Truck Simulator 2 (that I still have big sentiment) and was so happy when they unlock Kaukaz trucks so we can use them in NC, they are hard to drive but really fun to drive them just for fun. Night City is so much more than anything before I played, I really felt that place, it is so immersive, and every time anyone sees this city you find or even could not find some events or places, for example (maybe someone knows what I'm describing) recently I'm trying to find one place round centrum (can't remember where it is and its problem) when you can see open secret wants that looks like big pavement tiles and there is a ladder and under there is a secret room with broken security canon and dead ppl including net runner trying to connect to corpo web, I found that last playthrough before PL and this time I could not find not without searching it. But I find other interesting places. And so so so much more I didn't even know before you showed us in your videos. Thank you again. Greetings

  3. I beat the game shortly after launch on PC and was like "It was good and I enjoyed my time with it." but never touched it since. Started a new 2.1 game and am now level 38 or so and Street Cred 50 and now I constantly want to play it. I do get a bit bored after a few hours but what game doesnt get boring after a few hours? Not very many, maybe Witcher 3, Skyrim, WoW (when at its height of fun WOTLK maybe).

  4. Couldn't agree more, my favorite game of all time. Juat turning off the UI and walking around NC is strangely cathartic. The writing is on another level and is so mature compared to say Grand Theft Auto. Been playing since launch day and only ever had a few minor hiccups

  5. Couldn't agree more Cyberpunk 2077 is the GOAT. Although I must say Avatar – Frontiers of Pandora is eating into my CP2077 play time. That game is just as visually stunning as Cyberpunk. Seriously, check it out. Your jaw will be on the floor.

  6. true if cdpr realise 70% contents of what they have promised this game would be the best game of all time and no other games can come close.even though 2.0 or 2.1 is still in its own class i don't care bg3 or gta games cp2077 blows them miles away.it's ashame that this game don't get the recognition.

  7. bought it for 30 $ when patch 2.0 came out. expecting the ususal RPG shooter

it is just phenomenal! i was blown away like never before.

i am so glad i waited 3 years!!
i have 300 hours in like 2 month and am so far away from being bored.
it became the most favourite game i have ever played and i am 37 years old and been playing games since i was 6.

pushing my favourite games BOTW/TOTK, Hollowknight, Elden ring, subnautica behind it by a mile!

  8. To be honest, the only things I can think of that CDPR could do to improve their future Cyberpunk game is leaning much more heavily on skill checks as a way to obtain novel outcomes in missions…..most especially in dialogues….& also to make your lifepath choices more important (maybe impacting character builds & choices open to you during main story missions). Hope that makes sense.

  9. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, praise companies that fixes game later (after launch)! NO NO NO, just NO!
this will encourage the industry to push out more false advertising, half-baked product at launch!!! …this sort of mentality will brew more games like Days Gone!

  10. It's hard to describe the impact and special power of Cyberpunk 2077, isn't it ? 🙂 I have been thinking about it, from all the videos/reviews/essays done on the game that I have seen… Still haven't found something that truly resonate with what this game made me feel the first time around and still now (as I know the game quite well at this point, doing a new playthrough on very hard with 0 HUD, it's a whole other thing and incredibly immersive! I recommand for hard core fans). Cheers from a fellow Cyberpunk 2077 nerd 🙂
