  1. They really should have not launched it when they did. Even with fixing it later, the damage has been done and CP2 will have lower initial launch numbers because of that.

Without doing the fix, their company would ultimately have went under as no one would trust them for their future projects. Not enough for them to keep their doors open for long that is.

  2. Am glad they fixed it got almost 1000 hours played on cyberpunk, not a huge fan of the expansion the endings were ass, but hopefully with this new engine they’ve got for the sequel hopefully it won’t be 10 years in the making again, don’t fancy playing cyberpunk when am 50, retired with grown up kids 😂

After that i hade no issues and i still play today. I am going to buy the dlc soon. If you were going to ask i play on xbox

  5. When I got this game I was so excited then the glitches started and I couldn’t even play for 5min without it restarting or just shutting down so ya I’m happy they did some fixing but still has a lot of bugs

  7. Tbh, it wouldnt end up like that if ppl didnt force the cdr to relese the game quicker, remember how they moved the relese date twice? It was for a reason, but some players cant accept that fact and blame only cdr for how the game lunched (even tho it's 50/50 fault of cdr and players)

  8. More like "CDProjekt finished cyberpunk 2077 4 years after its release". Be careful, you might be setting a new standard of videogames by accepting these shameful practices.

  9. The game was definitely better on PC at launch. I played it on a laptop that just made the required specs, and, while I had to turn a few setting down, it still looked good, and played well. Sure, there were bugs, but they were fairly minor, and none were game breaking.

    Note that this was 1.0.

It only got better as time went on and patches came out.

And while I dont actually give a crap about how the console peasants feel about a game, I know that game manufacturers have to pander to them to a certain extent (which, as a PC only player, truly pisses me off), which is the main reason for most of the expense after launch.

That said, I hope CDPR (and every other AAA studio) take the lesson of Baldur's Gate 3 to heart. While the game was far from perfect at launch, it was FAR, FAAAAAAAR better than ANY AAA game has been in literally a decade or more.

Here's hoping 2077 Part II is a much more polished product out of the gate. I also hope that Mike well and truly puts his foot down when the time comes, because he (and his/R. Talsorian's reputation) has got just as much riding on a successful launch next time as CDPR does.

I'd rather they ACTUALLY follow their original mission statement: "When it's ready", than release more trash. Because if this shit happens again, they've lost a customer forever, no matter how hard they grovel after the fact. And I know I wont be the only one.

  10. What kills me is how they announced on launch that they weren't ready and didn't want to release, but we're forced too. And now a great team who made a great game has a horrible reputation for something that they really had no control over. Its very obvious cyberpunk 2.0 is exactly what they wanted to launch with but people got too mad when they tried to push the game back again. Sad to see honestly

  11. Bro I just recently picked the game back up and although I’m able to enjoy it and actually play thru it, it crashes and bugs out at least once every time I play. It gets frustrating at points, I’m on the ps5 and xs from old gen thinking that nights played a role but it seems I was wrong. I still enjoy it a lot tho and at least it’s playable.

  12. I'm glad they did, but I got it not even a month ago and have poured about 50 hrs of gameplay, and I've ran into multiple majors bugs. One of them is when I get in the tank for aldecaldos ending, I CANT MOVE AT ALL. Even reloaded and verified files and it's busted

  13. They didn't "have to do that". They could've taken the loss, drop all development, and start working on the next game. Cuz everyone would've bought another game regardless. I know this, cuz that's what literally every game studio does now.

  14. CDPR only released it because people were threatening the devs when they wanted to delay it again. Idk about y’all, but I would’ve been willing to wait a little bit longer for a complete game release, than a buggy mess.
