  1. I'm going to be optimistic about this. I'm happy that they are continuing to patch this game and hopefully in a year or so I can play a more complete game. I enjoyed the game, but it was also obviously disappointing.

  2. I almost feel like CDPR knew this game was not good at its fundamental core and that it was not an actual RPG – which is what everyone thought it would be, so they purposely made the game buggy for consoles and lower end PC's. I honestly don't remember really ANY bugs outside of a few clipping issues, though I am playing on a Ryzen 7 with 34GB and an RTX 3090. I just didn't enjoy the game because of it's mediocre retelling of the plot of Johnny Pneumonic (with the same actor no less), the very busy yet somehow very empty game world, and the fact that I was duped into playing a Cyberpunk Far Cry game instead of an actual RPG. The non-essential NPC side quests were somehow even more repetitive and boring than the last Batman game (forget the name of it). I won't even mention the highly anti-climatic ending, as that's kind of a CDPR staple, so I wasn't expecting anything mind-blowing there, but not even the journey was fun.

So back to my original statement, I almost feel like CDPR purposely dragged out fixing this game in order to keep it relevant. I completely forgot about this game until this video just popped up in my recommendations. I have no desire to replay it, nor would I recommend it to anyone looking to play an RPG. I would say I'm surprised people are still playing this game, but when I consider how many people were waiting for this patch before they play it, it kind of makes sense.

Anyway, disregarding bugs, this game still a 5/10 at best. You can find a better use of your time.

P.S. They should probably just get rid of the dialogue system since it literally doesn't matter what you say to people, the story will always move forward in the most linear of ways, outside of maybe one or two interactions that slightly impact the story.
