CD Projekt Red Hires Fans To Fix Cyberpunk 2077 – This Is How To Treat Your Community

CD Projekt Red made a lot of mistakes with Cyberpunk 2077. Most of the news around this game has been very negative or upsetting for fans. That said, CD Projekt Red seems to be trying to do right by the game, as they are now hiring modders, fans of the game who create their own content for it, to work for their company. I have always believed that this is how you should approach your community by valuing their ideas to improve the games or other products you make. #cyberpunk2077 #cdprojektred #mods

  1. Can you one on Volition called "How not to treat your community."

They purposefully mislead fans of Saints Row 1 & 2, then called those fans haters because they have genuine issues with the direction the series took after SR2.

Then they made statements that alluded that their fanbase as a whole are a bunch of misogynistic toxic manbabies because we feel like this "gangster" game is too woke/hipster driven.

There's allot more bs than this and I feel like it isn't being covered enough by the gaming community.

  2. This is good move by them, but the launch and lies and BS givin to us by a trusted game company is too much for many people to get over. For me, this is all well and good, but I don’t think they should be fully excused for how they treated their fans prior to this.
Btw, I haven’t finished the vid. This is just my opinion coming into the video

  3. I hope it eventually can be what Star Wars Battlefront 2 was for me. I avoided that game like the plague until early last year and now I play it a few times a week. Plus I’m a huge fan of the cyberpunk genre and the game still has a lot of potential.

  4. I'm also glad they're doing this, but I would guess that it's a sign more of CDPR's current levels of desperation than forward thinking on their part.

Because Cyberpunk's problems run way deeper than its buggy launch. It's kind of boring and shallow and feels nothing like it was advertised. They might not know how to fix it themselves
