In the open world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077 by CDPR and Mike Pondsmith, a multitude of weapons could fill your arsenal as you struggle to rise to the top of the Night City Edgerunners. From tech weapons like the Burya and Omaha pistols, to weapons like the Guts shotgun, to cyberware like Mantis Blades. But in the not so distant dystopian future where everything is commoditized there exists a series of vending machines that can be used to buy what might be the worst weapon in the game, the Slaught-O-Matic.
This gun is disposable, cheap plastic, spews smoke when firing, must be thrown away after being emptied like a Tediore weapon from Borderlands but without the utility of it exploding. It cannot be upgraded either, forcing you to have to build carefully around the weapon with perks and cover. But with this tool on hand, is it possible to take on what Cyberpunk has to throw at you, even to the point of facing Adam Smasher? Let’s find out.
