Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that has been discussed and dissected to death many many times and the title of this video reflects that. That’s why this is my own personal reflection through playing the game a second time and Phantom Liberty, and ending up appreciating it a lot more.

Great video! Could you recommend other good single-player games? I've already played most of them… Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, RDR2, etc.
This is kinda just a weird take. Youre just overwhelmed by how much there is to do, so when you look at the ncpd scanners you dont want to do them, even though they give some of the best uniques in the game, youre just lazy and used to games where you stand still rather than actually play the game
Good vid. Always nice to see more negative opinions during the current renaissance since obviously not everyone will like it. Great script and great intro worth noting too.
While this is not a 1 to 1 comparison, the hardcore mod for cyberpunk lowers your health and enemies health. Changes the strategy in encounters to something more akin to hotline.
The world didn't quench your thirst for exploration?!? That's strange. I always explore and look around stunned by everything around. A lot of secrets and depth and many things going on. This is the best world in games ever created. On top of that, there is no game that offers so much as this one.
And yes, a 1000HP muscle car feels sleepery. The mechanics are not perfect, but you also use a special example to enforce your claim.
I mean, if this would also have been the best car simulator, I would have asked too much.
Gotta be honest, I don't think phantom liberty really fixes the gigs and combat. Yes, there's fewer bullshit gigs, but they're not really better or worse than the average in the base game. And the combat isn't really better either if you ask me, it's a little different than on release but it's not more difficult or all that varied. That guy in the close quarters? I only remember him because he gets the drop on you, but he goes down easy. Phantom Liberty's main storyline is absolutely fantastic though.
Other than that I mostly agree. I did enjoy a new playthrough more after never finishing the game in 2020. The interesting stuff is solid through amazing, and going in with lower expectations made the base game storyline look much better too. But night city has a lack of things to really do other than relatively shallow gigs and side quests.
