I like the projectile launch system because you can use it, then swap to your actual grenades, then swap back and projectile launch is almost recharged to first charge. Sometimes the solution to problems is just fill a zone with red hot death.
I always go gorilla just for the Body boost. less point invstment there means i can pop more points elsewhere for my personal playstyle.
I really wanted to have fun with mantis blades. I'm disappointed. I'll just go pistols and gorilla arms.
15:26 This is a bug. The body stat bonus you gain do not reset when you unequip the gorilla arms, . So When you equip it again you gain 12 body instead of 6.
Mantis blades are faster and do more damage though?
love your videos so much sam, but I would very much appreciate spoiler warnings!!
I'm struggling to decide which Chimera Core Mod to go for.
use whatever arm mods u want, its dependant on ur playstyle, u aint forced to use a specific one
Gorilla Arms with shock and awe and pyromania can reach unkillable levels of tankiness because of the mitigation chance buff that you can get from the tech tree for having pyromania stacks. I legit don’t even need Berserk to tank MaxTac, although Berserk is my favorite Cyberware still
I play a stealthy pistol sniper and katana. using gorilla arms just for the +6 body 😂
Never really thought about this i Just went for the cool Stat and Headshot everything with Pistols or Sniper rifle s still picked Up Gorilla phys Arms for the boxing questline
I've been enjoying PLS with Kerensikov thoroughly, as it allows you to charge in cover, quickly dart out and use the time dilation to make sure your shots find their marks effectively.
I was tryna save looking at your vids when I buy it but I seen this after watching edge runners Maine was my favorite character his style off the clock his your typical family guy or big brother and on the clock he’s a determinated mofo that wants the eddies and it hurt seeing him die but I been trying for a Maine build cuz the projectile launcher is dope when Maine uses it so I wanted a “Maine build” get it lol…but seeing the new and improved launcher arms I’m bout to jelly sum ppl lol also fam for a playlist idea do showcase every edgerunner build curious how a dorio buu play like
Uhm you totally can use the projectile launch system as a main weapon just get burn this city with five stacks it refunds a grenade with the axolotl basically means infinite grenade spam
Can you still use trang darts with the new PLS?
On very hard mode I beat the snot out of everyone on the beat the brat missions with modest body perks, gorilla arms and a sandy. It was just that easy. Admittedly I was lv 58 at the time but still. So I think your right.
Electro PLS + Sandy + explosive tech revolver (W/electric shots perk) = OP as hell. Easily my new favourite way to play, with Kerenzikov and air dodges you can also make rain death from above in slow mo.
Tip with the PLS against enemies that can dodge: get them in a corner, their back against the wall. When they dodge, the projectile just hits the wall and explodes anyway
Ive played the entire game without arms equipped because none of them seemed worth money. I just don't think they're worth the cost and requirements, but as of the DLC I want to revisit them. Are any of these useful for more than just combat?
Shame that the Maxtac blades don't look like in the trailer; they'd be such a standout 🤩
