Adam Smasher is a Menace (Cyberpunk 2077)

Adam Smasher is a full-borg solo and rival of Morgan Blackhand. He is employed by Arasaka and by 2077, has risen to the position of head of security and the personal bodyguard of Yorinobu Arasaka.

Smasher is a towering cyborg, with little humanity left to be seen – not that he ever had much. After being reduced to mush by an RPG blast in the 00s, Arasaka offered him a choice – either pull the plug or become a full body cyborg. With little to no options and a lack of care for his human side, he agreed and became more machine than man.

Adam has no empathy for others – including his fellow employees – but Arasaka kept him alive, so he lives to repay their act by killing any enemies of the corporation Arasaka puts in front of him.

  1. Another banger, I must admit. Ngl it's super satisfying to kill Smasher every time, but how insanely dope would it be if the new DLC added a mission where you could actually take him down early, saving whoever normally dies? Or a chance to assault arasaka tower with militech for one of the endings? Plus it would be cool if in the future we get more chances to actually see him being more of a badass in his prime and not directly the villain.

  2. One interesting thing that I like to notice is that David while at death's door, is on the "same" situation as Smasher before the first accodent. Smasher even says that David could be a good weapon or something like this.

And one thing that I kinda dislike abou the Cyberpunk Community is that a lot of people hate(Or used to hate before the anime) the Smasher role in Cyberpunk 2077, saying that is random and illogical because V nor Silverhand is Smasher's nemesis and there is no sense on Adams fight because Adam have nothing to do with you. but he does the exact same thing on the anime and no one complains about it.

Smasher is a Arasaka's pawn and a merc on free time and just like David V turned into a massive problem for Arasaka, why the hell wouldn't they call their best weapon to deal with it? You can say something about his death but c'mon give me a reasonable reason for CD waste one of their legendary characters on their first eletronic game? V survived a insta kill headshot just because of the chip what gives 100% of garantee that our troll Saburo didn't put Kei's relic on Smashers brain? Some people even theorize that Smasher just didn't went Cyberpsycho cuz he does have a biochip too… Arasaka probably already has a million Smasher backups. His death only will be used to create a worse Smasher on the future. That's my bet for Cyberpunk Óríon
