No new Zero Punctuation on the website this week as Yahtzee is on break. Awards episode will be up on the website next Wednesday (January 6th).
fair.
Yeah… there's just so MUCH in this game. Stealth, guns, tech… i just run around chopping people's heads off.
Congrats on your progress, being small creator is hard. Thumbs Up 👍
I had an issue with the immersion too, but for perhaps a dumb reason. I live in the real life town Night City is built on top of, Morro Bay. It’s a sleepy little fishing town and tourist trap, and every other encounter I can’t help but think “how did it become all of this?”…and even in the tabletop lore, there’s not really a sufficient answer.
the ending went gordan ramsey so fast
0:07 Spelled or pronounced?
I'm glad Yahtzee didn't let CDPR off the hook for the blatant abuse of their developers. Bugs are one thing, and they can be frustrating, but that seems to have dominated the conversation instead of how CDPR dragged their employees' health through the mud to a degree that solicited raised eyebrows fron the likes of EA and Activision.
lol he didnt even play it
Me, seeing this: Oh this should be good
for once yahtzee, i think you were too nice. we all know it was exec-corpo that was looking to recoup assets and nothing more. at the cost of the developers. a game about corporations squeezing the artistic value of life out for a profit, made by a corporation that couldnt care less about the artistic value, so they could break even on preorders.
mmmm irony.
On the PC, I was ok with the bugs, can't say I noticed a lot of them. But I was more bothered with the inherent game iteself, the open world. It looks good sure but at the same time they are all mere set peices
What!? Yahtzee didn't rip this game to shreds and actually kinda liked some parts of it!?
Damn, imagine what a masterpiece it could have been if the game came out finished.
Such a waste.
Gasp Yahtzee just admitted to playing PC games with a gamepad?!
Fortitude Valley in Brisbane??
I'm really bummed you spoiled the plot for no good reason. I'm still playing through the tutorial. Seriously man, why did you do that?
So what he is saying is he completely missed out on Upgrading all the Iconic weapons so they could continue being useful at lvl 50
Has Yahtzee gone soft? This review is practically neutral!
Honestly though, the state in which Cyberpunk released is unacceptable and that point needs to be made loud enough that AAA moneymen can't pretend they didn't see it like the homeless people they pass on the way back to their BMW's after a 4 hour workday.
Not to mention the, eh, societal issues regarding the racial stereotypes, the tone-deaf genital customizer, the controversy-laden ads, and the increasingly strange prioritization of what content is actually complete at the moment. If you look, children don't have proper models, but there are multiple fully modeled fetish-wear stores.
Someone made a comment about Cyberpunk's design priorities and said something along the lines of "Someone on the design team has a futa-fetish" and makes so many things in Cyberpunk make sense.
no one told yazzee what members of dead or alive look like today.
Too bad you missed the crafting, pretty neat.
The last snipe is always the best in your reviews
I will happily buy Cyberpunk 2077 when it gets out of early access.
He raises a good point, Fortitude Valley is suss as fuck at night time to be honest, Night City might be safer
Pretty much nailed the feeling of waiting for a cab in Fortitude Valley, not gonna lie.
Yahtzee has some gems in this one
I am thoroughly perplexed by this game. I love playing it, love the atmosphere, but there is something disjointed about its approach toward crafting and such. Like, those should allow you to create a god, not some mildly pleasant vibrator. Then there's the tedious manner in which you can't just learn stuff by just doing something very specific over just killing shit. That's rpg, to read instead of engage. To burn down the library rather than see another book in one's life.
Seems like a nice game to play eventually. Looking forward to seeing it get fixed. Shame CDPR had to abuse and harass its developers because its management couldn't get its head out of its ass for six fucking years while the game was stuck in pre-production hell.
I’ve sunk 50 hours in, the game is fucking amazing if you aren’t being picky. If you look for bugs, you’ll find them, and people wanted to find them in this game
if 4:04 to 4:19 was refering to fortitude valley in brisbane then yeh…. thats a pretty accurate discription
