  1. I played the original pen & paper rpg, and later on Shadowrun.
Talking from a roleplaying perspective now, it was not rushed. I never had a job in the sessions we played that gave us alot of time.
Actually time always worked against you. The longer you needed, the more could go wrong, or even leak out.
As players we discussed alot, yes, but the ingame time really never was that long.
Moreover, many times you even had time constrictions to deal with.
Considering this, and that every runner wants to make a name for themselves, I think it's not too rushed.

  2. If Saburo was not killed during the heist everything would have went smoothly, T Bug,V, Jackie and Evelyn that should have been enough to finish the heist (I know the spider bot played a role in neutralising net runner but still I am pretty sure that T bug could have tracked it down(they didn't need Dex to get it))

  3. I think the original heist offer made since, but I think there’s a reasonable argument for V to have pull out after the initial heist set up is done. (Meets with Dex to get the suit) Or at least ask for extra prep work.

Even then, it’s still a reasonable deal to take the offer. The background work done with the previous heist was preem, and it was almost flawless except for a gap in the scheduling knowledge and the sudden murder of Suboro. So V and Jackie were justified in their decision.

  4. It definitely wasn't a good idea not only was it rushed but I just have always had this feeling that Evelyns original plan was not only to cut dex out but also to cut v and Jackie out of it as well.

My evidence for this (common sense) she's going to betray dex which is a cardinal sin in night city if she's willing to do that then why would she stay loyal to someone she literally meant less than an hour ago? Right after she suggests cutting out dex She goes on to have a behind closed door meeting with Judy who we all know wants to leave night City. After saving Evelyn Judy even offhandedly mentions that eves a bad judge of character and would have made a different plan if she actually took the time to get to know you which leads me to believe Judy knew more about the plan especially when you realize Judy's cloud insurrection plan feels just as rushed and not well thought out.

The second piece of evidence is tarot cards. The tarot found outside of the scav hideout is justice. When in the upright position, Justice is associated with karma consequences, accountability, law, truth, honesty, integrity and basic cause and effect… In its reverse position, it's associated with Injustice retribution, dishonesty, corruption, unfairness and avoiding accountability…. Both applied to Evelyn's situation

In the upright position as long as you have been just and truthful it should be seen as a sign of relief but if you haven't it should be seen as a warning… While in its reverse position it shows a person living in denial who's not willing to accept consequences of their actions and running away from guilt which Evelyn literally does by running to clouds. When you see this, you're supposed to stop living in the past, make up for your wrongs and make better decisions so you can tip the scales back in your favor. Etc
