In this video I break down a perk in the intelligence tree called data recycler. Hope you all enjoy this video. If you did, don’t forget to drop a like 😀

  1. Love these videos bro. It's kind of sad how many little bugs there are like though. It makes it really awkward playing Netrunner builds. It feels so janky and unnatural throwing in expensive hacks at the end of queues just to game a broken system. I'd almost prefer they fix the 80% recovery to not only include the hack following the kill hack, but too also only count for the actual cost rather than base cost. That way it would just be a nice little bit of compensation when stuff dies earlier than expected, which is what I think the perk was intended as. If it was actually intended to be gamed with the 50% reduced cost perk… that's bad design in my opinon. Really jank. Still love Netrunner but yeah it is what it is.

  2. With the ram limit using overclock and just killing enemies without excess queue the queue system is somewhat overdesigned and we miss some sort of enemy network espionage like we had before where we could hack the network and weaken the enemies or get discounts on spy hacks. There is a case to use full queue on a boss on very hard but then to lock queue with overclock you drop your HP very low… and not sure if you need a big queue to cheese DPS charts with synapse burnout?

  3. Awesome explanation of those skills, netrunner is my favorite play style, with contagion to make everything explode.
Can you explain the sub stat of cyberware, RAM recover rate increase when killing an enemy? Its have a timer, is just stackable, it's expire?
Anyways keep up the good work

  4. Preem (or Nova?):
    1. You recognize a strange behavior.
    2. Identified the exact point where it happens and why.
    3. Found a way to best interact with it.
    4. Found out more about how the perk works (Full refund not the bargain price)
    5. Found other nice bonus info on Synergy betwween the perks.
    6. Made a narrated video to show case all that.

All that in an environment, which makes getting clean results hard, you impress yet again.

Thank you for the effort and sharing! And if you ever comes across Horizon Forbidden West, there is the Problem with Explosive Knockdown..just kidding 😉 It´s a long standing "foe" of mine in research for HFW.

For CP77, i wish we had a combat log, like back in good old World of Warcraft.

  5. Does anyone know if it's possible to overclock whilst using cameras? I know you can just pop overclock and then hack into cameras. But that seems like an unnecessary extra step…

However if I hack into cameras, I seem unable to activate overclock from camera view. Is this intentional?

  6. Data Recycler: Does not work with a queue of 2(less than 3). For a queue of 3(INT 15) you only get an 80% refund for the last(3rd) quickhack. For a queue of 4(INT 20) you get an 80% refund for the last 2(3rd&4th) quickhacks. If practical, always put the more expensive quickhacks at end of the queues when the size of the queue is 3 or 4.
Wow! So, not actually funtional at all until INT 15 and not as powerful even at INT 20 as I imagined it to be.

  7. For those promoting builds that rely on the Blackwall cyberware :
It should be noted that the Blackwall quickhack cyberware is gated behind a specific ending choice to PL, and additional specific crafting choices once you choose that specific ending. Even if you rush the main questline, it is likely that none of these will be available until level 35+.

Anyone recommending/mandating the use of this cyberware to make a particular build should be transparent noting how few players will actually have this choice available.

Summary: This is not a piece of gear available to anyone who adds the Phantom Liberty DLC. You have to play for a very specific ending in order to have access to the POSSIBILITY of getting this cyberware.

  8. It’s pretty sad they left phantom liberty almost as launch of the main game. I know I’m exaggerating, but I had literally no bugs before 2.0 and PL and now I have one every 2 minutes. It’s really tiring. And since they said they’re done with the game I’m pretty sure they ain’t gonna fix shit.

  9. Wow, so all the perks that give ram back when an enemy dies prematurely are basically broken. Not a single one of the three do what they say they do. Thanks for the heads up! No wonder I didn't get the expected mileage out of my build using almost exclusively control hacks and smart guns… Nothing I used got refunded when I shot them. Sheesh.

  10. You missed out on a few synergies here (cyberware and skills) – but basically for me it is:
    – hit blood pump, hit overclock, enter combat (leave bloodpump alone from this point on, it autotriggers for the rest of the fight)
    – cyberware malfunktion (control quickhack with decent damage)
    – synapse burnout (damage dealer)
    – system collapse (ultimate for high ram cost, biggest payback in ram)
    – system collapse (see above)

this combo keeps you alive no matter what (maybe adjust when fighting cyberpsychos, using the "anti movement" quickhack).
I did MaxTac wave after wave without dying with this, on very hard.
